5.11 Tactical Men's Active Work Pants, Superior Fit, Double Reinforced, 100% Cotton, Style 74251

Good product but runs extremely long in pant length, recommend to either get 1 to 2 lengths shorter. I wear a 33 length in my pants ordered a 34 , length was comparable to a 36/38 length, co-workers who have ordered same pant have also experienced same issue.

Overall disappointedOrdered a pair of 100% cotton canvas based on the great reviews for the brand. Use the pants mainly for travel and daily wear. The pants look great and have a premium feel with high quality stiching and finish. Feedback after a few days of wear.1. Fabric is thick, tough and comfortable even in hot weather.2. Fitting is not great as the pants sit pretty high even though the inseam is as per my usual size. Due to the poor fit the pants hug the knees when climbing or kneeling, not expected from such pants.3. The cargo pockets sit low near the knees and are shallow compared to brands like Tru spec.4. The left side clip/ utility pocket is too small for typical iPhone/smartphone.5. The front brass button occasionally pops open if one bends forward too much. I have never faced such issues with truspec or proppers pants.I may have received a poor piece. But expected more from the brand.Suggestion- the pants ride high, so consider ordering one size lower in inseam, else fitting might not be good.

Really nice pants. Good fit, handy pockets, heavyweight denim. The only thing letting them down is a really wimpy zipper. Guessing it will break before I begin to wear these pants out.

Pants fits and wears well 4/5 all around only problem is pant fades after first wash. After using liquid detergent in wash. Now I have to try and dye it a dark navy again. Love the PA ts. Just doesn't love the fading.

Fit great and comfortable

I have a couple pair of 74251s I bought 15 years ago and they are indestructible. The new 74251s in the same size are a little bit snugger fit in the waist and butt, mostly because the elastic waistband of the old pair (which tended to permanently stretch) is gone, but they are still a comfortable fit even though I'm a bit bigger than I was 15 years ago. These trousers don't seem to shrink much in warm wash, and the heavyweight fabric softens nicely over time.

It is fit perfectly. The delivery was way too late. The quality is as expected.

Really comfortable and sturdy to stretching type stress but will wear quickly when something rubs against them for an extended period of time.I wear my keys on a carabiner clip on one of the belt loops. My keys tend to sway back and forth as I go about my rounds. After a while I noticed that these pants get a hole worn in them were the keys make contact. These are the only pants were I've had this problem.

I work in retail security on nights and therefore do a bit of shelf-packing when there are no demanding customers in the shop so I end up kneeling for a fair amount of the time. I bought two pairs of these around 18 months ago (first one, then I was so impressed, I bought a second pair) and wear them five nights a week at work so in effect, it is like continuous, 40 hours/week wear for 9 months. They are the best wearing trousers I have ever had in this job.They are extremely well built and the rather understated D-ring is on mine, welded so it will never open so I keep my Smart Pass and SIA badges on that. The diagonally-opening pockets are very good for quick access and I keep my handcuffs in one of them - quick access no visibility - if you see my handcuffs, it is because you are going to be wearing them.The small, long pocket on the left is ideal for pens (two normal, one fne marker for writing on CCTV photographs and a UV pen, along with a UV torch that goes in there as well) and the larger pockets below them are off to one side so I keep my pocket notebook in one of those.The belt holes will take wider belts (50mm) which takes the Peter Jones Klick Fast dock without mofing around on which I have my two-way radio.In short, they are well built, last ages, provide you with the pockets you need and are worth every penny. After all that time, I about to order some more.

As above, I describe these as my annual trousers, I buy one pair every year or so and wear them constantly for everything. They wash nicely and last longer than jeans or other so called 'work' trousers. Loads of pockets so I can carry phone, keys etc.

Very pleased with 5.11! They actually are available in every size - unfortunate colour choices are hit and miss but very pleased with the product. Will being buying more again.
