Best scoop yet
Took a little practice to get the hang of using it. Since it's only meant for ice cream, not being able to dish wash wash is not a big deal since hand washing is easy. Doesn't cut ice cream like a hot knife through butter but still cuts much better than a regular scoop in really stiff ice cream. Key part is to warm up the fluids inside the scoop with your hands/warm water and to keep the warmth by covering as much surface with hands and/or grip closer to the scooping part.Oh... The scoop can get really cold when scooping due to the heat transfer design but that's not an issue for me.

Tough ice cream scoop with antifreeze
This is a strong and durable aluminum alloy scoop. The handle contains a liquid antifreeze that transmits the heat of your hand on the handle to the scoop; so it releases the dip without a problem. It is so tough I have used it like a hammer to break up ice chunks or to separate frozen food pieces. Our original is over 40 years old. But I bought a new one in a smaller size to make balls of cookie dough for baking. Works great!

Perfect small scoop
I have a large zeroll scoop and love it but it’s too big to press ice cream into cones. This is the perfect small size scoop to manipulate ice cream into store bought cones without breaking them. The big one is great for serving ice cream into bowls. The instructions don’t mention rinsing the scoop in warm water before using. I have small, cold hands and it takes a minute to work on its own straight out of the drawer. Rinsing it first makes it incredibly easy on the first scoop. It’s genuinely amazing that it scoops so easily without melting the ice cream! Best kitchen purchase I’ve made in years.

Like it, but Small
This is a great ice cream scoop, but a bit small. I didn't pay close enough attention to the description online to note the different sizes related to the color tips. If buying another one, I wouldn't hesitate to get from this manufacturer, but would purchase a slightly larger model.

Perfect little ice cream scoop
It works exactly as the description says it's supposed to. My hand warms up the handle and the scoop cuts through hard, frozen ice cream like a knife through room temperature butter. My only knock on this particular model is the scoop size of the ice cream is small--think a melon ball. If you were trying to do a double a traditional sugar cone you'd have to scoop 6-7 times.

Awful product
Revision: The scoop started rusting and turned black. Had to throw it away. I will never buy from this company again.Original post: The scoop works in scooping ice cream but wished it has a bigger scoop. I had the Pampered Chef scoop which was ruined in the dish washer and needed a replacement. This scoop is close replacement but Pampered Chef scoop was bigger.

I had no idea an ice cream scoop could be this good
Received my order today, and broke the Zeroll scoop out for use the same night.I had no idea an ice cream scoop could be that good. Yeah, you read the reviews, but it's hard to believe it for yourself until you actually hold the product and use it. I wasn't sure too if the hot, humid climate where I live would affect the use of this ice cream scoop, but I'm happy to say that it doesn't.It made beautiful little round balls of ice cream with almost no effort at all, from a hard-frozen tub. The leading edge of the scoop almost feels like it cuts smoothly into the ice cream. A welcome change from wrestling with almost bending spoons, other ice cream scoops that just mush the ice cream about without actually making a proper ball of it, or leaving the ice cream to melt a little on the counter before scooping.Build quality feels pretty solid, and after doing a wonderful job, washed up with zero hassle. The only downsides I can see are that I may be eating much more ice cream now that I have this, and that I also want a larger scoop size too for cones.
