Esoteric Anatomy : The Body as Consciousness
Quick delivery. Covers a lot of the basics of Stone's diagrams yet adds some fresh ideas to Polarity Therapy. Still reading so a review or synopsis would be inadequate in a summarize description.

A beautiful book by a talented and compassionate person with a visionary expansive mind
I've purchased this book many times over the years because it has worn out from overuse. Rarely does one find so many ideas, both practical and esoteric, in one place, written beautifully, clearly, and with obvious inspiration. Whether you are coming to this from the point of view of a practitioner of an energetic healing art, a yogi of any sort, or a person on an evolutionary path of inner growth, I cannot possibly find adequate words to express my enthusiastic recommendation of this book.

I am very excited to encountered this wonderful book. As I medical doctor
I have been seeking spiritual growth and personal healing for many years, and have studied under varies spiritual paths. I am very excited to encountered this wonderful book. As a medical doctor, I have experienced the feeling of helplessness when my patients and my beloved family members passing away. I knew the dominat medicine system can't cure patients from the core. My strong desire was to elevate myself and offer my helping hands to others at times of need. This book definitely added my knowledge and skills to achieve my goals. I feel I am guided by the spirit to come to the right path at the right time to the right things including this book. Thanks!

The body from a different lineage
I write this review in the form of a letter to the author. I disclose that I have had a passing acquaintance with Bruce, many years gone by.Dear Bruce,First I want to let you know how impressed and a bit in awe I was in getting your book, and a first skim through I tend to do with books. Flip the pages, see what pops out., look at the pictures if there are any, look over the table of contents. Is it academic? Glance at the references. Does it jump out what camp? Can I ‘classify’ it?I was just surprised to realize I think of you as a dear friend even though our meetings have been brief. I am sure I never told you (to my shame) how honored I was when you asked me to come teach Ortho-Bionomy in place of your five-week course in Polarity Therapy at Heartwood Institute. I don’t know why I hid that.I can imagine having a chat with you about our different ways of ‘conceptualizing’ the body (the Body).I don’t want anything I say to be in slight a slur. I’ll risk a banal metaphor. We are in the same battalion but different squads, different platoons. I want to meet with you where our missions coincide, so we can learn from our differences.(and differance). I’m finding your book didactic, in the best sense, passing on wisdom from non-dominant cultures.Because I love you (don’t anyone go thinking naughty thoughts now) I have to take it as true. And because I love me I know my own conceptions is true. With Heraclitus, embrace the ambiguity. “Yes.., and…” Mine, feel, is radically new. If one were to follow Gebser one would say it is from a mutated consciousness. I’m not that bold. It comes from bringing together data and clues from many current fields of inquiry. Yours to me is a kind of history (I love history). To me it is an eastern history (this eastern/western myth does not sit well with me) of the Body.Yeats explained it (The Gyres):“Things thought too long can be no longer thought,For beauty dies of beauty, worth of worth,And ancient lineaments are blotted out.’I give first credence to the Poets. The philosophers the scientists, they come toddling after.I trust we are both moving the needle in a direction for the good. I’ll be taking deeper dives into the book. The “Body as consciousness”? Here we butt against a brute fact. No way to decide if consciousness causes body or body consciousness. Eeny-Meeny. Panpsychism is on one side the divide, emergence the other.Thank you for this way of seeing.

Energetic body info!!! Fantastic view of it all :)
He describes the body as no one else does. If you are open minded and ready to explore new ideas and understand that not all is as it appears to be, you will love this book!
