I’m an elementary teacher and have been looking for an affordable yet quality and heavy-duty mechanical pencil sharpener for a while now especially to ease my weaker hands, arms, and wrists now from sharpening class sets of pencils every couple of months. I thought I broke it after sharpening some poorly made wooden pencils because the sharpener stopped and the pencil got stuck, but after I unplugged it and gently pulled out the pencil (which happened at least ten times to eat it’s quality), the sharpener is still going strong! It’s one of my best cheaper physical health investments thus far compared to a $80-$90 one!

This thing is so sweet! Stick a pencil into it. It'll suck up your pencil, sharpen it and spit it back out. No need to tug on it. Perfect sharpened tips on my Crayola color pencils and no2 pencils. Highly recommended.

One the empty waste cup is not easy to take out or put it back in. The first one would not work correctly and was not working correctly. The second one does not close correctly at all either

Worked good for a while (3 times) for sharpening about 20 pencils at a time. Then it stopped auto reversing (which was fine) but now it won’t even suction the pencil in to sharpen. I’m frustrated by this product and wish I could return it.

I bought this sharpener 6 months ago and have only used it occasionally. However it takes my pencil in but won’t spit it back out. I have to pull it back out and it still is not sharp. I’ve tried several pencil styles and still the same problem. Great idea but I can’t use one that won’t give me back a sharp pencil.

Purchased this for my Mother, approximately 1 1/2 months ago, she has already stopped using it.Not sure how to describe the problem properly but, it just chews the pencils too quickly and does not pop the pencils out like it’s supposed to do, just keeps sharpening them.
