Hard work yields positive manifestation
Before you begin this tome, purchase a companion book known as a 'dictionary'. Although this edition is edited to be easier for those of us that find comfort in words with less than eight letters in them, the true flavor of Israel Regardie's grasp of the English language is quite evident on each page; but don't let that dissuade you from owning this truly magnificent work. Work being the operative word here, beginning with looking up those words your not familiar with, to the repetitive, and exacting formulae of perfecting the magick you will learn to use as described within it's pages, The Golden Dawn: The Original Account of the Teachings, Rites, and Ceremonies of the Hermetic Order (7th Ed.) will, if the practitioner applies him/her self with true feelings and diligent purpose, reward with positive manifestation. It could take weeks to quickly read and leaf through and then go back and begin the true referencing, note-taking, practicing, and learning the work which could ultimately take years to grasp (master?), but then, if it wasn't hard work, it wouldn't work at all. I am thoroughly enjoying the read, and marveling at what I am learning.

Due to uncorrected errors and new ones introduced, I doubt whether the 7th edition is better than the 6th,
I regret to say many of the errors of the previous edition were not corrected, including some I've pointed to John Michael Greer, including Hebrew spelling and five errors in the opening of the key.Worse, I've found some problem in the 7th edition kindle that aren't in the 6th edition kindle, specifically the symbols for the pips were properly arranged in 6th edition Book T part of the kindle, but are garbled in the 7th edition.Another example is in the 1st operation of opening of the key - the 6th edition has the Hebrew Tetragrammaton correctly written, in the 7th edition the letters are in reverse order.Another example are the table of Hebrew alphabet in the 1st knowledge lecture. The 7th edition has the size of Yod and Koph vary from the rest of the letters, where in the 6th edition they were all the same size.Bottom line, I don't see the benefit of owning this edition over the 6th edition or the new falcon edition.

A classic bokk that every occult student should read
One of the greatest occult books that I have ever read and I have read hundreds of them now. The expense is well worth the investment. The binding and the pages are excellent quality.

5 stars
I really liked this book better than my old blue edition which is a copy of the original manuscript. This book goes deep in to detail describing everything to easily comprehend.

Instant win for any Esoteric Collection!
Everything an aspiring magician should want in their tome collection. This book is packed full of valuable gnosis for the journey of any form whether it be Esoteric, Metaphysic, or a path of Magick. You will not regret your decision. However, this information must be handled with absolute care and attention. Be warned that operations described in this book should be studied with great attention to detail, and almost certainly with the aid of a dictionary/translator. There are latin, hebrew, and greek phrases tucked in the pages so it is almost clutch to be able to translate it quickly.

Damaged book
Book is damaged right out of the package. No bubble wrap? Really. They just straight up stuck it in the package. For the price paid I’m pretty disappointed. However, the contents of the book itself are great and is main reason I’m giving it two stars.

To be an Initiate....
Means never to stop learning. To never cease on your Path, and always go on with your journey. This book is a masterpiece and belongs on any bookshelf for anyone studying any of the Esoteric Schools of Though. For one, as many know, much of today's systems take root in the Golden Dawn Path, or System. However, these teachings can (and should) take a lifetime, or years of study. I am extremely glad to have found this book, this system, and this new paradigm of thinking at this stage in my life. The Golden Dawn main book/manual/text is very long (approximately 900 pages?) and is a compilation of many lessons, lectures, rituals, and otherwise. This can take a reader many years to read, or properly study this material. Be aware, this is not a text that is to be taken in one reading or sitting. This is a Manual that expects you to follow through with it's teachings, or methods. 'Practice makes Perfect' as is known. As well, and has been mentioned, I would recommend a side study guide, or manual to go along with it. I ended up purchasing 'Golden Dawn Magic' by Chic and Sandra Cicero to accompany this book. It has so far served very well.Be Blessed.

Jewish Alchemy
Didn't think the print would be so small that your eyes get tired and blurry. Some words are difficult. Over my head reading. Symbolism is difficult. This book reads like a college thesis. Facts, facts, facts. Should have gotten the ebook, that way I could check for cross referencing, and definitions as I read and enlarge the print. Would like to return book.

Overpromised and underdelivered
The book makes all sorts of promising claims. Whereas in fact all its filled with is mostly vaguely explained rituals that could be made much simpler and easier to understand had the authors wished to. The most disturbing thing about the book is that it promotes the false 10 grid tree of life concept throughout, which facilitates the continuation of the inverted matrix.

Preservation of sacred teachings
The preservation of this material is extremely important, even in the world wide web world we live in. I appreciated the introductory information.
