Great Controller, Great Price, Great Service
I have used a lot of temperature controllers over the years for my home brewery, and the Inkbird WTC-308WIFI is the best. Priced much less than the competition, it has worked very well over the years, and I have found the temperatures to be accurate. I also like the bright, easy to read display. When I had a problem getting my unit to connect to wifi, I was able to get prompt support online to resolve the issue.

Very affordable temp controller, great use for home brewers
I've been brewing ales for 8 years and thought Id like to take a crack at making a lager. The thing is I did not have a fermentation chamber and needed to maintain a constant 53*F temperature. This device coupled with an empty kegerator did the trick. Device works exactly as advertised. The functions are simple, I did not even need to review the instructions to setup my fermentation chamber. I have set the temp to 53*F with a +/- range of 3*F. When the temperature climbs to 56*F, the kegerators compressor kicks on and stays on until the temperature reaches target again. There is also a safety function for delaying the compressor which I have set to 3 minutes to prevent the compressor from switching on and off repeatedly. I can say for the value, I am extremely satisfied with this products performance. Now I hope my lager turns out just as satisfying.

Great Temperature controller! Even holds settings when losing power!
This is a great temperature controller.... easy to setup and it holds both internet connectivity details and temperature settings when the power goes out (which has happened a lot lately). The bonus is.... that I can actually see when my power went out and when it came back on by checking the temperature tracking history in the app (there is no data when there is no power, so a gap in the chart until power is restored). Also interesting to see how much better temp holds in a fridge/freezer that is nearly full vs almost empty and just trying to keep air cold. Considering installing one as just an alarm in my fridge, so that I can tell if the door was left open, with the alert being sent directly to my phone.Highly recommend.... would buy again.... and already did buy another one since purchasing the first... to use elsewhere in the house.

Good value and accurate
I've been using this controller for about six weeks to control a heater in a grow tent application. So far the controller has been very reliable and temperature accurate. I have purchased the version that is WiFi enabled. The instructions are minimal for the android application, but once you get the application installed on your android device, the on screen user interface is pretty intuitive and it gives you the ability to set the temperature trigger ranges and send alarm alerts to your android phone. I actually find the android application easier to use then the physical control buttons on the controller.Based on my positive experience, I have ordered another Inkbird controller, this one with a humidity probe, to regulate when my inline exhaust fan turns on/off, so that I can control the humidity range when the fan goes on/off. In my environment, my grow tent has very low humidity, below 34%, and I need to boost it higher. I have found that if you regulate the fan based solely on temperature, the inline exhaust fan over compensates and reduced the humidity that has been introduced by my supplemental humidifier, so it never gets above 40%. Hopefully, the humidity controller, in combination with the temperature probe, will help keep the overall growing environment more stable .

Wonderful Product - Keep Your Tank Safe With Inkbird!
I have owned 3 Inkbird units (one in my large tank, one in my smaller tank, and one in my QT tank). I was originally introduced to Inkbirds by a wonderful blog post by Aquarium Store Depot who talked about creating an aquarium heater system that has multiple fail safes. Their blog post talked about using a controller like an inkbird as the central brain of the whole heating and cooling system. I followed their recommendations to the T with two heaters and a controller. The old models are amazing and very accurate. When I heard about this new wifi model I just had to try it.I put this controller on my new reef tank setup. After I installed it and fired up the app, I was impressed with the fact that this app can monitor ALL tank systems in your home. This is a great feature for those of us who suffer from Multiple Tank Syndrome (MTS). I can now go quickly into the app and see the temperature of the tank. I can access all the settings in the tank if I want to make an adjustment. I can also pull up charts to see if my temperatures swing throughout the day. This was definitely worth upgrading to!My only complaint is the charts. They have a weird naming template so I can't understand what day it charted, but I love accessing everything on my phone now. The fact that I get mobile alerts if my temperature goes too low or too high is priceless. Heater failure is such a common reason for a livestock wipe out in an aquarium. It's worth your money to invest in one. I also got a Wyze camera so I'm set with complete monitoring when I'm traveling or away from home. Thank you Inkbird for making another great product. I'm looking forward to upgrading my other tanks so everything can be on the app :).

Climate Control is for the Birds !!!
Hey !!! This little gadget is the perfect way to set up a "perfect world" for "baby chickens". Keeps them right on the money as far as their special needs (warm protected space) at a few days of age. Keeping the room temperature for baby chickens at a prescribed level is so very important to protect them until their feathers come to grow. This equipment keeps their cage at the proper 95 degree temperature for the first week ..... followed by the ability to slowly drop that temperature a few degrees weekly for the first 8 weeks of their lives. And, the ability to download an "app" and moniter that warm cage without being there was an added gift. So well worth the sum of money paid to protect those little guys.
