T-744 A/V Receiver

I bought this NAD a year ago because my last receiver (about 15 years old) offered the best sound of any equipment I had ever owned. Turns out that shouldn't have been enough of a reason for this purchase. The most obvious difference is just in the weight of the items - my last receiver was supposedly in the same power class, but weighed twice as much. This receiver puts out good sound, but not the great sound at high power that I was accustomed to.To top it off, this receiver does not have HDMI switching. If you're going to get a modern receiver, that's a feature I would insist on. This receiver offers reasonable, but not great sound, with none of the bells-and-whistles of the competition.
