Great product, great company.
I purchased one of these mounts just about a year ago to hold my kindle. I am HARD on this thing, as I read before bed every night. It comes with me any time we travel, or if I switch to the spare bed for a few nights because my toddler needs me, or whatever. And then, each time I use it I bend it down to position it and then bend it back up and away when I’m done. All this to say, this thing has taken a BEATING. Just the other day, right at the base joint it started to give out a little bit, causing it to kind of sag from where I try to put it. OBVIOUSLY way out of the return window, but it has a sticker on it that says they have a 1yr warranty and to just email them if you need help. I wrote them, they responded within 24hrs and are sending a replacement. Express shipping! They did not bribe or beg or manipulate this review either like some other companies will do. I just genuinely feel people should know when you have good people out there selling stuff. TLDR: this product takes a beating and works amazingly well, and if you abuse it too much the company stands behind their product and will replace it.

Great Quality
Bought this for my mom and she uses it everywhere. Very durable and maneuverable with a good grip on the device. Great for hands free reading on an eReader.

Very sturdy
In all seriousness, this is a nice Kindle/phone stand. You will, however, need some hand/arm strength for the install. Pros: seems very sturdy, was fairly easy to install, and has a non—spring clamp which makes it more stable, in my opinion. I have not moved it, but it seems like it would be very easy to move to another location if you wanted to. Con: you will need quite a bit of arm/hand strength to unbend the coils to be able to use the stand. If you have arthritis, hand or wrist pain, you will need someone to help you with this part.

A must-have for your work-from-home video conferences
As of this writing (late May 2020), much of the nation is still under some sort of lockdown due to the pandemic. As a result, a lot of us are working from home as well as connecting with loved ones by video. I have a fatal flaw: vanity. Yes, it’s one of the Seven Deadlies. No, I’m not proud of it. I guess we could blame it on the self-absorbed, narcissistic tendencies which already exist deep within everyone’s psyches—which, under normal circumstances are easily controlled with self-discipline and humility but flourish when we are fed so regularly and efficiently by social media. (I’m lookin at you, Insta.) Why bring vanity into the discussion about video calls? Have you SEEN what you look like when your rear-racing camera is on the desk or table below your eye level?? I DO NOT HAVE ALL THOSE CHINS. I found myself spending fifteen minutes before each call stacking books and rigging up strange set-ups with clothes pins to try to get either my iPhone or my tablet at eye level so that I would not look like Jabba the Hutt on my video calls. This became pretty tiresome, especially when my comically magnificent structures would collapse in the middle of a call, forcing everyone else on the call to see areas of my living space unfit for public display. I needed a quicker, more versatile, less Rube Goldberg-ish solution. Enter the gooseneck tablet/phone holder. After doing some comparing, reading reviews, and price-shopping, I finally decided on this particular one because it had the features I wanted: the length was good, it would hold my iPhone or my iPad, and the price was right. It took a while to ship, despite it being Prime eligible—but that was no fault of the seller as Amazon was, at the time, prioritizing shipments of greater need/importance due to the pandemic. This thing has changed my video conference game tremendously. I had doubts as to how effectively it would hold my iPad, but it’s plenty strong enough for that. It’s very adjustable... but since the gooseneck is so very sturdy (you want it to be, because otherwise you’ll look like you’re constantly in mid-earthquake to your viewers), it takes some muscle to bend it to where you want it to be. Despite that sturdiness, one disappointing aspect of the arm is that the mounting clip and the collar for tightening it down are plastic. I could see someone easily overtightening it and breaking it, rendering it completely useless. As long as you’re careful with it, it’ll be fine, but I felt that information was worth knowing if you’re considering buying. Top tip: if you ultimately decide to purchase this product, READ THE DIRECTIONS. I know none of us want to read directions for something that seems very simple and self-explanatory, but you could save yourself potential frustration by taking a few seconds to do it. It won’t kill you, so go on and do that. One of the things you will figure out very quickly is that you should affix your device into the spring-loaded holder BEFORE snapping it onto the ball joint at the end of the arm. Much, much easier. Overall, I can recommend the product. Good value for the money, does the job, spares me the ridiculous engineering, and enables me to take video calls without my viewers looking up my nose—can’t ask for more than that.

It doesn’t hold up my Apple iPad when fully extended
This product seems to be of good quality. It securely holds my iPad and the clamp works really well to secure it to a piece of furniture. However, I’m not super excited about this tablet holder. Even though the flexible long gooseneck arm is quite sturdy, it will not hold up my Apple iPad when fully extended. Maybe it shouldn’t be fully extended and left in a spiral as in the photo? However I needed something the full length of this product for my purposes. I ended up having to McGiver a loop to hang down from an overhead shelf to hold up the arm. I’ll end up replacing it at some point but I’m going to make do for the time being as I already threw out the box.

Attached easily to strange shapes.. jaw surfaces are nicely padded/soft, firm/stable grip without damaging the arm of my favorite old chair. Holds my beloved Kindle in just the right spot! I’m reading more because of this silly little gizmo. Excellent product at a low bargain price.

Hands Free!
This tablet stand holder with a flexible long arm gooseneck is a real game-changer, especially for new parents! Its compatibility with a wide range of devices including iPads, iPhones, Samsung Galaxy Tablets, and Amazon Kindle Fire HD, makes it extremely versatile. The standout feature for me is how sturdy and reliable it feels. The grip is strong and holds the device securely, which is crucial when you're multitasking or have your hands full. As someone who has used it while caring for a newborn, I can't stress enough how valuable this stand is. Holding a baby requires constant attention and often both hands, so having a reliable stand that allows you to view your device hands-free is incredibly helpful. Whether I'm catching up on my favorite shows, reading, or video chatting with family, this stand ensures my tablet is held securely at the perfect angle. The gooseneck is impressively flexible yet maintains the position you bend it into, offering just the right balance of rigidity and flexibility. The build quality is solid, and the black color gives it a sleek, modern look that fits well in any setting. It's also very easy to adjust, which is fantastic when you're frequently moving from room to room. This tablet stand truly makes life easier, allowing you to stay connected and entertained without skipping a beat in your parenting duties. It's a must-have for anyone who needs an extra hand.

Is the product worth it? Personally yes.
Down side first... There is nothing to prevent the tablet from wobbling around. But if you have excess cable and you can bend it in a circle; secure the circle together and that will help stabilize the wobble a little better. There are many upsides; It is not only designed for ipads. It will hold your phone (Apple or Android), (Apple or Android) Tablet. It is easily installed to a hard surface like a table or depending you can wrap the cable around something. Were the tablet is secured to the device swivels and a securing nut will hold it in place. Keep in mind weight may be an issue; but if adjusted right that can be mitigated as well. The bendable cable is sturdy and will not deform under weight. It will hold in place. Aside from the wobble; For the price you pay your getting a quality product. I use the product to hold the tablet when I make videos for my classes. Knock on wood; so far good grades on my videos.
