Great value for money, with solid performance.

It was a gamble as the cost was so low, I wasn't convinced it would be any good. I needn't have worried, it works flawlessly.Super simple to set up, press the connect buttons on thr transmitter and receiver and you are ready to go. I was able to walk around the ground floor of the house and play without the signal dropping. I set up next to my router and had no issues with interference and there was no loss of audio quality or any lag.I am extremely impressed and would happily recommend them for light and medium usage. Oh and they are regsrgsbke via an include USB cable with a 4 to 5 hour life.

They do work but are they sturdy enough for a gig? Well, I made a change!
I did review these earlier this year, but I returned them as I thought they might be too flimsy plugged into my bass. Then I had a thought - Why not but the transmitter in a holder attached to the strap and connect to the bass via a short link cable? So, when they came around on Amazon on a special deal, I ordered again (but this time the 5gHz version), bought a LevyLeather wireless strap holder and link cable and it seems a much better solution to protect the transmitter. Tested it out on Monday practice and all went exceedingly well. Battery life fine for three hour practice session, plus freedom to wander round. Result - credible wireless solution for under £50.

Brilliant !
Having tried and returned a set of the very expensive RF type pick ups that couldn't be used with powered pick ups I wasn't expecting very much from these. However I noticed in the description that they are uncompressed so I bought a set for general use at open mics, rehearsal and such like. They are absolutely superb. No noticeable lag and most importantly no clipping when playing with enthusiasm.I tried them at a gig for one set and I honestly couldn't detect a difference between these and a lead. the following week (This Saturday) I decided to try them for the full gig. We played full on for about about 3 hours and there was no sign of running out of battery power. Curiously the Transmitter took longer to recharge than the Receiver plug so it had clearly been working harder. The handy Y lead charging cable charges both plugs from a single USB socket.Despite being dubious about the 2.4Gh band being suitable for pub gigs there was not a single drop out or any crosswalk from a pub full of phones or from the pub WiFi.

Quality, long lasting and stylish design.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this for my grandson. He is in college, taking music. He is also in a band. (you can see them in the 2019 Isle of Wight music festival!)The wire from a guitar can really get in the way! It is clumsy and a trip hazard! If you don't want to get tied up and tripped over on stage, you really need to get one of these. You just plug one in to your guitar (and it folds out of the way) and the other to the amp. That is it! It takes place of the wire.No loss of sound and long lasting. With 5 hour charge, lasts long enough for any gig.It comes with a charger with 2 connections, so you can charge both pieces at the same time.Quality, long lasting and stylish design.

Not good enough
Transmitter and receiver paired in seconds. Sound on my Mustang short scale bass just as good as with cable. Build quality reasonable. Can't speak for battery life or product longevity yet but very happy so far. ........ I have now experienced the battery life and change rating from 5 stars to 3. Transmitter battery lasts less than one hour. Receiver a little longer. This not much good for me.

Has its faults...
Update: Reduced my rating down as find that when you use these with effects, especially distortion, they create huge amounts of white noise that completely wiped outs any defenition on the individual strings.First thing you notice is the cheap plastic constuction but given the price this was not unexpected. Definitely notice a latency and they also brighten the guitar tone. The further away you get from the amp the greater the latency. It is only fraction of a second but it is noticeable. If you want something cheap for just messing about at home then these are fun for the money but I wouldn't consider using them live.

Absolute bargain but a bit fiddly to use and charge
I was not expecting much at the price but I was surprised. Audio quality was clear (electro acoustic) and low background noise. The 2.4GHz frequency does clash with WiFi but I didn't notice any issues. No latency was noticed - surprised me as I was expecting at least some slight audio lag. I would not trust the unit in any stage or performing environment due to the 2.4GHz band but it makes for good unentangled practice. The units must be switched on individually and charging is via a microUSB fiddly and impossible in poor light. Auto switch-on at plug in would be nice and auto sense charging through the main connector in a small base unit would be a better solution. Also don't forget to remove from guitar after use as preamps in most guitars ARE auto switch on! Tested with Yamaha guitar and acoustic amplifier and with effects pedals. Pack says up to 10 units can coexist and that one source to many outputs is possible but untested and I'd rather have it as many sources to one amplifier but I'm just nit picking. Good wireless solution for practice at slightly more than the cost of a good cable. Very pleased...PS also works with my powered BT headphones using a mono 6.25 to stereo 3.5mm adapter for "silent" practice.
