had no idea if my truck had the wiring harness to connect to as it only had the bumper pull hitch initially, but I added the drop hitch and a 7 way plug. I was using the Curtis wireless bluetooth brake control for a trip of about 4000 miles, and it worked well, but I wanted the permanent solution to wire in for more security. so I purchased the Curtis Discovery Unit and this harness, and I thought I might have to cut the end off and just hard wire it, but to my amazement, my truck had the plug up on the wiring harness and I was able to plug it in and Done!! so easy! tested and worked like a charm! all in like 5 minutes maybe! Worth every penny!

Works like it should

My truck didn't have a connector from the factory but I needed the smaller end so that I could connect and unconnect the controller from my truck. I cut the white end off and wired it direct to the brakes and battery. Works great for what I wanted. Wish they would sell just the half I needed. If Curt does sell it I couldn't find it.

Easy as can be! I used this to quick-connect a 1997 Dodge Ram to a Curt Triflex 51140 brake controller. The connection fit perfectly and there's plenty of length here to put it on either side of you under the dash,

Worked perfect. My controller required to be hard wired so I got this chopped off the end tied the four wires to the correct leads and now it plugs right in.

2min install. didn't cheap out on the wire.
