It is a retention holster, no button. Works perfect with the Glock. You'll be really happy with the purchase, very comfortable holster.

I used it for the gen 2 glock 23

No....this item is specific. cz has different trigger guard size / slide shape / width.

Q: As a paddle holster I'm looking for use when need to remove holster and gun from belt for some locations, how hard is it to get on and off?

This is a very comfortable holster and it is very secure when put in place. Removing the holster is fairly simple and very smooth.
