DD Hammocks - DD Tarp 3.5 x 3.5 - MC: 11.5ft x 11.5ft

Saw Randall G. review this product on his "Grunt Proof" YouTube! Being a "once a grunt, always a grunt" grunt and hearing his rave review of the product, I had to buy one. Grunt Proof is a no nonsense outdoor product testing channel that understands the importance of versatility, reliability and quality (for the buck) when it comes to living and surviving in the outdoors! Randall's testing is impressive and had already run the gamut of utility for over a year. It's everything he said it is. He has another video on guideline pre-sets that make setup incredibly fast. I've been a strong advocate of the US Military Poncho as a multipurpose weather shelter and will always have at least one in my kit, but this tarp is exceptional in a civilian market capacity. My guess is the Brit(s) who designed this tarp are former SAS or Special Service military diehards! Well done you Limey Legos! OH YEAH! Ordered it from Amazon GB and it shipped the same day (FEDEX) ..... Arrived four days later! Now that's outstanding!

I had the 3x3 tarp and it Great. This 3.5 x 3.5 give me more room when I know the weather is going to be sketchy without not much more weight. I appreciate the amount of tie outs the DD Tarps. I was surprised how quickly it was delivered.

I'll try to update as I use this 3.5mx3.5m camo tarp. The stakes and guylines are nothing special, doubt I will keep them with this tarp. The bag or stuff sack is ok but it was not fun getting it back in, so I had another larger bag that is less arduous and quicker to pack up...both stakes and bag...no big deal. The tarp is well made. Reinforced tie outs with large loops for easy staking or attaching cordage. The center line loops are even more robust and the center two feet or so is reinforced with stiching the enter length on both sides of center. Not sure if this is more due to the material size or by design...definitely seems strong. The camo pattern is great. Blends very well with no overt pattern repeating. Logo is present on one corner, wish it was blacked out. For now I'll keep that one corner lowest to the ground when possible, or take a large sharpie to it. Love the spaciousness of the 3.5x3.5m. So far I tried a plow point and a simple lean too...acres of space. The material seems durable, but I'll avoid sharp pointy things and sparks. I had a typical camp fire about a meter in front the ridge at about 2 meters high with no concerns. Overall excited about potential setups in all weather and would consider getting another one.

When I ordered the tarp it said, on their website, 1-2 business day shipping. But when i ordered it through amazon it said 10-15 days. When i emailed DD about this i wasn't expecting an email 10 MINUTES AFTER! They were scary fast with responding as well as very thorough and professional. Low and behold I got the tarp in 2 freaking days! AND IT EVEN CAME FROM ENGLAND! The tarp seems to be made out of the highest quality material with reinforced ,duct tape like, fabric. The stakes are just basic stakes as well as the guy lines (ropes) it comes with but, you aren't paying for those. They are just a little added bonus. Very excited to use this and will keep this review updated throughout the uses. Thanks DD hammocks.

The extra space over the 3 x 3 meter tarp allows you to create better shelters without much weight gain.

Excellent product,reinforced tiedowns for about any setup

Great looking tarp from a distance,but,I ordered it twice and only got the OD Green version. I returned both because I really wanted the camo. DD Tarps are legendary world wide. I'm still hopeful I'll try order again soon. DD Tarps are 5 star.

Me ha gustado la calidad, parece bastante impermeable y el tamaño de 3'5mx3'5m viene genial para montar un techo justo encima de la amaca ! Sin duda ha sido una buena compra !

Top Tarp, nur ein bisschen fummelig beim wieder einpacken. Ein wenig größerer Sack wär an der Stelle ganz angenehm. Die Qualität passt aber.
