AntennaX 50 Cal Military Camo Bullet (5.5-inch) Ammo Antenna for Chevy 1500 Silverado

Tried all configurations with pieces included, alas this product does not fit the newest model of 1500 Silverado.The packaging has to be destroyed to access the product -- doubtful I will be able to return it. Looks like I'll be out the $30 bucks unless I can find someone I know who has a model year that will accept the aftermarket antenna. A bit disappointed -- just a forewarning to anyone contemplating buying this for a late model Silverado.

I was ecstatic to finally get this accessory for my vehicle. I instantly went to put it on and realized it was to big to reach the male end of my antenna through the mold. I thought, "No big deal, i'll cut it out". So i went to choppin on my hood mold around the antenna. I managed to finally get the antenna into the mold and realized that my male end was WAY to big for this female .50 cal. I looked at the extra option to make it fit and none of them where big enough. Highly disappointed that I was informed it would fit, went the extra mile to make it fit and it doesn't. I'm going to tap it myself since i really want it to work. But mad that I was lied to.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 crew cab. The stock plastic molding that goes around the antenna which is part of the truck does not accommodate the mounting of this antenna, period!And all the attachments that come with it does not help.So in order to make it work, I had to disappointingly take the piece of plastic molding off, grind it down in order to accommodate the installation of this antenna!I ended up scratching the carbon fiber 'wrap' that goes aroumd this .50 cal round.DISAPPOINTMENT!

Took about 2 mins to install. This comes with different adapter options to ensure you get a proper fit. Installed perfectly on 2017 Silverado 1500.

Cool, easy to install, simple instructions. The only flat can only be seen from 12 inches or less away. The carbon wrap glued onto the casing section isnt evenly wrapped, but it's only off by about 1-2 cm. Not enough to notice from the next parking spot. Took the wife 2 weeks to realize it was there. Very low profile and inconspicuous, yet once it is noticed it is a total talking point. I live 40 miles outside of Chicago and 50 miles from Rockford. We could get all the stations fairly clear before, now they are muffled at half volume with about 20% more static. I only use satellite radio with the amount I drive and my wife uses spotify, so we couldn't care less about the reception. If the reception is something you care about, then dont go with a low profile antenna.

Was looking for something different to personalize my 2021 Chevy Silverado. This antenna feels weighty, great colors and has a variety of adapters. Removed the stock antenna and popped off the plastic cover surrounding the antenna base. The factory threaded stud didn't budge, so seems to be built into the base. There are several adapters included, but the threaded female ends were all too small to fit the threaded stud on the base. Its a shame as I really liked the looks of the bullet antenna.

Bought this as a gift for my husbands 2015 Chevy Silverado. Someone stole his antenna so I decided to replace it with this one. Some reviews said the radio doesn't sound clear but we've had no issues with that at all

This antenna said it would fit all model Chevrolet Silverado’s but it will not, no way fit my 2017 LTZ Silverado. I tried every part in the package and it would not fit. It could be because 3 of the connection parts looks used or poorly made. Some of the adapters were not even round on the thread part. The only way you could possibly make this work on this model of truck would be to drill and tap new threads. I will be returning this antenna. Beware! I believe it would have looked nice but I don’t need junk like this anywhere near my truck. I had to leave one star or it would not let me leave a review. That is the only reason for 1 star.

Looks good and easy to install. The reception isn't bad but it isn't that great either.

Received product installed on truck and lost most of my reception
