Well written and informative book with a lot of very nice drawings and illustrations.

This was a gift and he loved the information, his only remark was they were to short.

GREAT starting point for the person seeking authentic re-enactment in a general direction of the period...the Bib is also outstanding

If you get The Vikings (Elite) you get much of the same information. I was hoping for more in the book.

Osprey's third title in the Warrior series, this book combines twelve beautiful plates with both informative and absorbing reading.

Not much I can add to this. It’s up to the normal Osprey standard and I have many many of them. I always consider Osprey as a starting place for further research. And have been collecting them since the 70s. Won’t hear anything bad said about them.

Questo volume è ben costruito e splendidamente illustrato. Contiene spiegazioni dettagliate e approfondite, nonché illustrazioni suggestive e fotografie di reperti. Se vi interessa una qualsiasi epoca storica da loro trattata, ciascuno di questi volumetti è imperdibile. Non è il primo volume di questa casa editrice e non sarà di certo l'ultimo.

Per quanto riguarda la spedizione tutto perfetto, è arrivato in un lampo e in ottime condizioni, per il contenuto lascia un pò a desiderare, disegni perlopiù inutili e pochi contenuti, è più la cronaca di una serie di eventi piuttosto che l'analisi del guerriero vichingo.
