This is a beautiful strap that could be classed up by encasing the black reinforcing strap so it doesn't show. It's a bit tricky to keep it hidden. Easy to put on and very comfortable to wear.

Misleading
I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this needs one. The strap is not like the picture. I thought I was buying a pure Kente cloth, which is what I wanted. Instead what I got was what other people have said thin material sewn over the top of nylon webbing. Very disappointed in this company will not buy from them again. I gave it one star because it will work but it's not what they're advertising. If they showed what you really get I may or may not have bought it but at least I'd know what they were really selling.

Well made
Very nice product. Not too thick, but heavy enough for my hand carved wood 24" Djembe. Stitching is solid and it is more than long enough for what I need. Well done!

I was very disappointed. the Kente cloth is just stitched onto one side of the strap, if you are not very careful when you put it on, it will twist and show the webbing side. The webbing itself is very thick and strong. That might be a good thing, but it makes the strap very stiff.

Exactly what i expected !
The strap is perfect. All a Kente style djembe strap HAS to be is a piece of cloth tightly stitched,preferably with a traditional pattern on it, to be able to support the weight of a djembe against your body. I am a professional percussionist & have been playing for many years. Ehat's unique about this strap is that it has a black nylon strip inside of a cloth for reinforcement, which makes it feel kind of rough to the touch but it's actually perfect. Would recommend this 100% to anyone who is looking for a body harness for the djembe. It looks authentic, is very comfortable, and is a lot cheaper than any of the American made harnesses or even 50+ dollar straps that you can find online.
