Pokemon X & Y Primal Clash Set of Both Theme Decks

My son loved these sets! He is 8 and is obsessed with the Pokemon Trading Card Game. He is more about the game than collecting. These are perfect for that because each set alone can be used as a deck for the game. Since this comes with 2 sets, you can play the game 1-on-1 with someone right off the bat. They each come with directions and all the necessary bits needed to play the game. All of the cards are new and in mint condition. Since they are preformed decks made to help kids learn the game, they do contain a lot of double cards. Not every card is going to be different. I am really happy with this purchase and I think my son is even more so. I definitely recommend!

Very strange...the Groudon deck came with a Froakie coin (little green goofy frog) instead of the Groudon coin which it was supposed to have in it-I am not sure why this is? Also the Kyogre deck came with a Chespin coin??? We were a bit disappointed as we have never heard of this and were expecting the Groudon coin and the Kyogre coin to come with the theme decks. The rest of the items in the box look legit and new, just the wrong coins. The boxes were taped together which was a little odd, but I assume this was just for mailing purposes. The decks, although in mint (out of the box) condition, were slightly warped.

This is an Amazing Set, but I wished when it comes in the packaging it's not taped the back of each other. I tried ripping off the tape on one of the decks but ended badly, I wanted to keep the boxes. So I kept the other box with tape on it. Hope you Can fix the packaging for other buyers. Anyways it's an amazing price for both Theme Decks and I have fun playing with them!

Gotta catch them all. UGH. I fell down the rabbit hole on this. I find myself buying each set of pokemon cards that comes out now so I can try to beat my kids. It really isn't fair to them that I can just buy the cards I need from the local shop. I have been filling the binders and trying to get complete sets. I am nice and give them my duplicates.

It's okay. The good thing is that you get your Groudon & Kyogre, one foil and one regular for each. My only gripe is that half of them were energy/trainer cards. I'm getting these cards for my collection, not for playing the TCG. So if you're like me, may not be the bast set for you.

This requires quite a bit of investment to play even casually. The cards are fantastic for collectors, but they are not used as actually play items.

Good variety of cards- this being said, when you purchase these packs, understand this isn't a battle ready stack- you will need to purchase other packs or individual cards to make your battle deck be the very best, like no deck ever was.

Decks were exactly as described and actually arrived faster than I expected. Unexpected bonus my Earth Pulse deck had 2 foil Groudon so it looks like an error occurred and more cards than intended were packed at the factory.
