These are working for my dryness!! I don’t mind the cocoa scent. I’m learning not to take daily but to alternate with E suppositories. DHEA causes water weight gain for some. It got to the point my ring was getting tight. So I did stop and tried estring. One week off these, and i found immediate issues with that. Dr recommended I go back to these since my tissue handles it better. Previously, I was alternating every other day. Will likely do every couple days with E suppositories in between. I just did a new order this late spring and thought to buy a few to stock up since there are reported issues of melting in the summer. I've tried every prescription vaginal cream, every suppository there were was on the market at the time, they didn't work. I gave up using vaginal prescription products at 52. I enjoy sex so I decided to go on the patch; oh my gosh that was an expense $75 + $15 for progesterone = $90 a month but back to great sex. I've done a lot of research regarding the extremely low Estrodial in these suppositories and they are completely safe even though the FDA is stating it's unsafe because of other estrogen products on the market like the patch or oral estrogen & progesterone. There has never been any one that has been on vaginal estrodial (which these are wild yam) suppositories in the past 18 years that has been proven to cause a blood clot, breast cancer, etc. So ladies before you knock this down check with your doctor because vaginal suppositories with such a miNUTE amount of estrodial (2mg) are known as being extremely safe. I used this solely until I found out they have a cream called Osteoderm. I changed to using that daily for maintenence and using the ovals occasionally but they are a great product together or seperate. Highly recommend.

QUICK INFO ABT ME: cys woman in my 50s with seven bio kids and verrrry active sex life for over 30 years- yep that’s how we got seven. Perimenopausal symptoms galore (3yrs) and autoimmune symptoms galore (16yrs) and desperate for solutions. I research a lot and question my drs persistently to find help. My experience with these 2x moisturizing ovals used once daily for two weeks so far: -Immediate improvement of odor, burning, stinging, discomfort due to rebalanced ph -*Topical* increase of moisture due to moisturizing carrier ingredients, immediate relief -Increase of natural vaginal secretions, within a few days, including normal color, texture, fragrance -Partial relief of insomnia, within a few days -Nearly total relief from nocturnal hot flashes, almost immediately -Less trips to bathroom day and night almost immediately -Improved ability to totally empty bladder within days -Slight improvement of daily energy (maybe 25%??) possibly due to improved sleep -Patchy improvement of libido and vag pain during sex- one or two 70% normal experiences with better libido and less pain. I don’t want to be a human applicator and share product with my man, who doesn’t need it- lol. I recommend you purchase/use an applicator if you can not apply at sufficient depth yourself or are concerned about drippage/loss. PRODUCT CONDITION: My order was shipped with cold pack but left in the mail box in Texas in July- lol. I just kept the product level until it resolidified. Crumbled bits of stray product can be scraped/scooped back into package bubbles and gently rewarmed with oven light or heating pad. A popsicle stick works well to scoop and reshape. Fingers just melt it and spread it around and cause waste. Product info states that exposure to heat will not harm product ingredients. Don’t cook it- just gently rewarm it enough to coax it back into the oval molds, and chill to harden if needed. I keep them at ambient 72-76 degrees in my bathroom with no issues and much more comfortable to use than frozen ovals all up in there- yikes. OTHER CONCERNS: -Cancer warning- I don’t see it, but it was mentioned by negative reviewers… Ladies PLEASE research this issue thoroughly. Anything containing any kind of estrogen at all is required to have this warning due to HIGHER DOSE SYNTHETIC ORAL ESTROGEN being associated with increased risk of cancer in studies. LOW DOSE, PLANT BASED TOPICAL ESTROGENS do not affect blood born estrogen numbers by much, if at all, and have not been shown to increase risk of cancer. My hormone doctor agrees. One would have to take dozens of these topical suppositories a day orally over time to encounter a risk of cancer. Topical use is verrry low risk. FDA and California prop 65 warnings are similar in this case and all based on unrelated lab results. Ask your doctor and do your own research into the facts beyond the warning labels, before writing off this very helpful natural product, PLEASE. You owe it to yourself. Please pass the word to the other sisters as well- I see a lot of needless concern over this. SMELL??- I detect only a *light natural cocoa butter(chocolate) scent in the ovals themselves. I can not smell it once it is inserted unless I am really going to swipe and whiff down there, but whyyyyy. No perfumes on the ingredient list or detectible on unopened product or on the open ovals themselves. If heavy perfume is detected, try wiping outside of package off BEFORE opening in case someone perfumey handled it. If an irritating odor persists on packaging, it has probably permeated into the product inside. Please initiate a return with clear communication about the issue to help the next sister avoid it (as well as eventually getting a better shipment yourself). Least you can do since you have enjoyed this solid review, right?;) BOTTOM LINE: I fully recommend this product for the improvements I have experienced listed above.
