Of all pens on the market today, this is my choice for a fine-point retractable pen.
I have both the retractable and non-retractable versions of this pen. They write the same, as one would expect. This has a truly fine point, and a good flow of ink, great for writing in small spaces. I can write in a very small text size where with other gel pens all the lines merge together and become unreadable. This came in a 5-pack and I will be using this and the non-retractable version for a long time.I wish the barrel was thinner, like their older model black “stick” pens with the blue “dot” at the tip of the cap, which I’ve been using religiously for almost 40 years and which I buy BY THE BOX and which are a dream to write with – they are transcendent, the iPhone of pens – these retractable pens are only a bit wider so I will not subtract points for that.

Best pens I’ve ever used
I love these pens ! Writes smooth and helps your writing become more clear. If you need to squeeze something in a line, this is the pen that can do it. Perfect pen !

Much Better than Pilot G2 0.38mm Gel pens
Very nice pen. The 0.38mm tip is excellent to add a lot of notes in a small space. I use it all the time in my medical review books to add notes. The only problem is that the ink doesn't last long.I also used Pilot G2 0.38mm gel pens in the past. I don't know if I got a bad lot, but the tips of all those pens broke after 3/4th of ink was used. Never had a similar problem with Uni-ball gel pens.

Three Stars
First pen was great, going on second one and is not smooth writing.

Arrived on time. Exactly what I had been searching for in office supply stores and wherever pen are sold.
These are great writing pens. I open and started touse immediately. My one mistake was loaning it tomy wife to make a quick note. She like it and claimed it for herself. Since, I have given one to each of my daughters.I have been looking for .38 Ultra Mirco Point pens with blue ink in all the local office supply stores, Walmarts, Target, K-Mart and any place selling pens. I'll be ordering again soon.

Not So Great
My first couple of orders were great (6 pens to a pack). Super fine lines made marking editing changes nice and easy to read. In the last couple of months I've had to throw two away before half the ink was gone. The writing became very pale with skipping in the lines. It's seems like the ink dried up. I'm now very disappointed and might have to go back to a .5 pen.

Great pen - cheesy clip
Love the thin 0.38 line and the shade of blue. However, the clip does not have enough tension to hold the pen securely in the shirt pocket. Expected better quality, like the 207 pens. Uniball can to better!

Retractable, micro-point gel pens
I'm very happy with these pens. I need ultra fine points (0.38) for proofreading and editing marks between tight text lines of copy. I prefer retractable pens rather than those with caps that take longer to open and close and can get lost. I will buy more of these pens again when my stock runs low. Ink color is the deep blue. Even coverage with no leaking in the pens I bought. I also like the medium sleek circumference for holding and comfortable, smooth rubber grip near the ball point.
