You can't go wrong with a Pete the Cat book! They always have a good story line. Kids love them! Including my grand son who asked me to get him Pete the Cat books for him to read! This book is soft cover & has paper pages. Came to me in great condition & by the promised date. I highly recommend this seller!

Pete and his class go on a field trip to a firehouse. They learn all about the fire trucks and the gear firefighters must wear. While visiting, the fire alarm goes off. Pete goes with the truck to the location of the fire and learns how the firefighters deal with a real fire. **** FOUR STARS! In this small book, children will learn the basics about a firehouse, the firefighters within, and what they do to help people at a fire. All the characters in the story are cats – except for one that is a frog. James Dean is not only the author of the “Pete the Cat” series, but also the illustrator and his pictures do the story justice. Pete fights fire!
For a moment I feared Pete had jumped the shark, but hey, it's Pete and he's the best. Read this over and over and over with my granddaughter and we both think Pete is the bees' knees.
