Corrected: I made the mistake and Lepatek (the vendor) helped resolve the complaint immediatey
First, Lepatek responded to my complaint and emails immediately. They answered my emails on Saturday and Sunday too. However, not being a big email user, I delayed the whole remedy two or three days. The connecting or bonding method these guys use for split power cables is excellent, I hadn't seen anything just like it anywhere, ever. I blamed them for not including all the cables, but found out, with the excellent assistance of the vendor, all the cables needed were included. The 'split' CPU cable, essential to this build, had already been 'expertly' installed (by me) in a 'combined' slot. Of course it wasn't in the box because it was, as you might guess, still installed. Why take it out, this wasn't my first computer building rodeo. When the Lepatek representative explained the two halves of the 'split' cable was bonded I checked both CPU cables and what do you know, with a little effort, the second 'combined' cable became a 'split' cable.I haven't turned it on yet, but wanted to update the rating to reflect my experience.

Great power supply / bounces well / great warranty service (even near 5 year limit)
Upon delivery, and after hearing the delivery man bounce it rather loudly off the floor, I was concerned. An ill-conceived test, suggested that an RMA might be necessary. However, after dicovering the wondrous "paper clip test" (search the internet), I was pleased to see it worked. It works great, stays cool, runs quiet, includes all the cables you'll ever need, and is surprisingly resistant to damage from sudden acceleration / G forces. I'd truly like to complain about the price. It is expensive. But, I guess, you get what you pay for.I'd recommend it to anyone.UPDATE: Funny story...after nearly five years, warranty on this, and many other components of my PC, were either nearing or past expiration. So, I decided to build a new one. I completed the build and my old PC died that same day. After some investigation, I discovered it was the power supply.I decided to test the warranty. As I was about a month shy of expiration, my expectations were not high. My first problem occurred trying to submit a claim via the web site...no dice. The page for warranty claims was broken then and remained so for at least a week (I stopped checking after that). In the meantime, I tracked down a (moderately difficult to find) e-mail for customer service. They responded quickly and effectively. About a day later, I had an RMA number and sent the unit back to the warranty address. Shortly later, they sent back a new (fully functional) unit. While it could have been a bit easier to submit the claim, I really have no complaint. I'd give them an extra star for being one of the few companies (now-a-days) that actually honors the warranties, but fives the limit. Kudos to Enermax for that!

These are Self Cleaning!
Enermax has a great Customer Service and Jack there is the "go to" guy. Enermax really honors their warranties! I had a unit go out due to a power surge. No problem! Enermax replaced the unit, no hassle! This was not what I expected since it was part of a system I purchase from the builder. Other companies use any excuse hey can imagine to deny warranty claims. Enermax has been great to work with. Buy their stuff!

Has everything you need
I've had the Platimax D.F. 1200 for almost 4 years now, with no issues. It has enough cables and ports so that, besides making custom molex cables for reaching the backplane of my chassis, I've not once wished I had more. It's currently running an EPYC based workstation/NAS/server with two GPUs, dozens of HDDs and many NVME SSDs. The original server PSU/power distribution board for my chassis despite being the same wattage, was crippled in it's adaptability.I initially regarded this as a bit too expensive to purchase and excessive in the wattage, but I can say it was a ultimately a fantastic choice.

Perfect and trusted, despite one "small" issue
Lets be honest, most people do not invest a lot of money in a simple power supply. But I decided that with a system that does what I want it too, power was not the only thing to look at. I wanted ease of use, lack of clutter, and a trusted power source. This is it!Being modular this takes up only as much space as you need by redusing cable clutter. And there is a wide selection of available cables of a beautiful quality included! This may not have everything for every build, but it is dang close!I did however have one "small" issue. I received this component as part of a larger build, all brand new components from amazon. When I went to power it up the power supply sparked and popped, then promptly died. This is HUGE, as there was over $3k worth of other components attached to it. But Amazon replaced the bad PSU (hey, it happens on even the highest quality controlled line) and the replacement worked perfectly! This does not seem to be a constant problem by the reviews here and on other sites, but it is worth mentioning as it DID happen. Of note, nothing else was destroyed by the death of the PSU, so I give credit to a quality PSU that had a manufacturing defect yet still protected my equipment while it died. Additionally amazon was willing to replace any component that was destroyed by the fault, but no other component needed replaced.

Top of the line for gamers and workstations
Pros: This is the best quality and the most powerful power supply I’ve ever bought to date. It was purchased for a gaming build in mid 2018. I have 4 hard drives, a power hog processor and motherboard with all large fans within a massive HAF mid tower case. With 10 USB’s, dual graphic cards and dual network cards being used I’ve never used passed the 40% mark to trip the fans! It never has gotten hot!! Relentless power supply. It just works and provides the power you need unconditionally. One of the best on the market, too bad they stopped making it!!! With a 10 year warranty, nice!Cons: none, don’t ever foresee there being an issue. Too well built. If it ever comes back, buy it!

Beware of the new 2013 "Flat modular cable" edition - I received a defective unit
I have one such from the US, bought several months ago. The one I have and working great is the 'old version', the rounded colorful cables.I ordered a second one since I love the first (it has a mild shrrr noise but I don't hear it 80cm away from it), and I was happy to see Enermax upgraded to black flat modular cables. However I was horrified (!!) to actually open the box and install the "new flat cables edition":A. It has a stinky CHEMICAL TOILET SMELL. AWFULB. The 24MB connector is defective, very hard to insert.C. Once power botton is "ON", immediately it began to make a high pitched coil whine: Prrrrrrrrr Prrrrrrrrrr Bzzzzzzzzzzz BzzzzzzzzzzI hope they'll give me my money back. I'm an international buyer, so I paid tax (unrefundable) for a faulty product. Extremely frustrating. If you buy this product, INSIST to receive the 'old version', colorful mudular rounded (NOT flat) cables.Currently I abandon Enermax and back to SeaSonic. Obviously, enermax did NO QUALITY CONTROL here.

Product came defective
I've ordered this PSU before and I liked it so I ordered another one to build another pc. The issue was that it came in, i installed it, turned the pc on and as soon as the lights come on, they go back off. This is absolutely ridiculous. What a complete waste of time. This PSU was defective. It kept shorting. I expected better from them. Then again, its not that surprising, considering that they dont even ship this PSU inside an amazon box. they just ship it like you would buy it from the store. No padding, no extra box, no wounder why it's defective. It was probably kicked many times while at amazon warehouse.

It is loud
Good power delivery however, the fan on this power supply is loud. It is the only noise that can be heard from my pc. If the computer is placed on a desk next to you, you may want to rethink buying this power supply. If it is on the floor, the noise is not as loud and is bearable. It comes with many cables and Velcro cable ties. The packaging is very nice. Everything is nicely organized in compartments.

Electric/coil noise intermittent
The cables are super nice individual sleeved. The coil whine issue isn't with load of the computer and I almost returned it. The first one i had had a noisy fan. The second one it's a noisy'ish fan but not bad. Being a titanium psu, I got a great deal on it and the intermittent noise maybe just due to more controllers to achieve the titanium certification. Overall, I would recommend this - super low coil whine intermittent noise - so if you can live with that, it's a decent psu at the right price. I look forward to years of service hopefully.
