This bottle is sturdy! The thick glass and the thick cover make it hard to tip over and it seems durable and hard to break. The cover not only protects the glass it also seems to insulate it and keep the condensation from running everywhere. The wood top is adorable and the loop makes it easy to carry. Notice the photo inside the top: theres a metal piece, and a silicone ring that helps seal it so it has never leaked on me! I am very distrustful of water bottles, as they always end up leaking everywhere, but I have no worries about this one. I got the largest size which is nice because I don't have to refill it as often! The wide mouth would suit smoothies and other thicker drinks well. Absolutely stuck with this water bottle! Only gave it 4 stars because it is heavier than I'm used to, but that is due to the quality of materials and is just a preference thing that I think will grow on me because I love that its so hard to tip over (weight and the silicone on the bottom that keeps in in place). Perfect waterbottle!

I really like this water bottle. The 24 oz size is the perfect size for my average-small women’s hands (I wouldn’t want it any bigger), and the silicone has a nice feel to it. I have previously mostly used plastic water bottles like the Rubbermaid bottle in the picture. I like the idea of glass though, and it feels more like I’m drinking a glass of water (rather than from a bottle) because of the wide mouth. Also, the water seems to taste better than when drinking from a plastic bottle. I had to get used to how quickly it pours out because of how tall the bottle is, but I’ve gotten used to it and no longer splash myself in the face. :) I also like how when the lid is screwed on, I can carry the bottle with the strap. It seems sturdy and very well-made.

I am a heavy, heavy drinker. Of water. I drink about 5 liters a day, and for years have used wide-mouth Nalgene bottles. Plastic, kinda hard to clean, and discoloration at the bottom indicates that even when they are getting cleaned.. they're not getting that clean.Enter Origin.Now, these are nice bottles. There's a heft to them, and the sleeve colors are quite nice, though plain. The white is white, the seafoam is seafoam and the turquoise is turquoise. And now the "however.."These bottles and nearly all others on Amazon are just too tall. Add a quarter inch of diameter and shorten them, for the of god. Why? With such a small base, and such significant height, these are a major tipping hazard. I haven't knocked one completely over yet, but I have had some scaresA quarter inch doesn't sound like a lot, but when the base is only a couple inches, a quarter inch would be quite sognificant.I got these because I wanted to upgrade from Nalgene and plastic.

I love Origin glass bottles for their pure taste. The glass just doesn't leave residual flavors like metal and plastic does. The silicon sleeve is very protective and makes me less nervous to carry a glass water bottle around with me. I've had it fall over a few times with no damage done to the glass. My only complaint is the bamboo lid has a distinctive smell that I can still smell a bit when I drink out of the bottle. I'm hopeful that with a few more washings and time, the smell will fade because I love the natural look of the bamboo.

Updated 11/01/2018 - After a few months of use and hand washing the Bamboo Lids, the Lids seem to have began to dis-color and it looks like Mold is coming through. This time around the seller was not willing to change out the lids. I would avoid this product until they update the lid to a more durable material.—————————————————Perfectly sized, easy to clean with wide opening (we use dishwasher). The silicone “jacket” protects the glass very well. The only con was our cap came with a little crack but the seller has been super helpful and are in the process of shipping replacements.

Very disappointed. I have had this product only close to 2 months and it did not last. The silicone sleeve does not cover the bottom of the bottle and it a shattered out of no where. The bottle was in a soft carrying bag with nothing sharp or blunt. For the price of the bottle it should have lasted longer than two months. Not only did the bottle not last, the lid had cracked less than a month. I took very good care of this bottle, it was only hand washed. Never was it dropped or used in a dish washer.

I've had the bottle only a couple of days. I purchased the large mouth, large bottle. It's sturdy and HEAVY, as well as a little difficult to hold, as my hands are small. This latter point does not have a negative impact on my overall impression of the bottle. It helps me get in my daily water. I was surprised that the cap was vacuum sealed, which is a plus and prevents spills so far. I make sure not to tighten it too tightly because I want the bamboo cap to last. This latter point is the only worry I have about this being a bottle that lasts a long time. We shall see how it holds up.

This bottle is awesome for my office. It lives on my desk and I love it because it stays insulated and has a silicone sleeve that keeps condensation from leaking onto my wood desk.I love the wide mouth because it makes it super easy to clean and put ice in!Still loving this and it’s been months.

After only a few times use, the mouth of the bottle chipped. It was placed in the top of the dishwasher and came out chipped, nothing obviously was around it to chip it, but the glass must have had a weakness as it seems strange to have chipped so easily. Emailed the company but no replies.
