I can't say enough bad stuff about these shades
I've just spent a very frustrating evening trying to install these crappy shades in my son's room - as soon as I got one up, and tested rolling them up and down, they fell - denting the wood window trim, and putting a huge crease in the cheap-o, papery shade itself. Looks horrible now. The pull chain is very, very stiff, and hard to maneuver (tried a squirt of WD40, but made no difference, as most of the mechanism is plastic). And I soon figured out that, while rolling the shade down, the little pin that holds one side in place mysteriously recedes... enough to have made the shades fall. I stand up there with my finger on the pin, and feel it cycling in and out as I raise and lower the shades. WHO DESIGNED THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE? Plus, no template for hanging, and the pieces don't click together in any way, so LOTS of fun holding this darn thing up to try to mark where to drill holes, and having the pieces constantly slip out onto the floor. These are going back. Awful.
