Very useful product.
The DM screen came in great condition but had a little break in the middle binding on the inside. Luckily where the players can't see. It's not too severe to the point of making it unusable, it just is a minor imperfection. The information on the screen is fantastic and very useful because a lot of those things I often forget and love having a neatly organized reminder. Plus I don't want to waste time flipping through the book or search on the internet for a specific rule or dungeon mechanic I forgot about. The picture on the front of the screen is ok. It could have been better, instead of reusing pictures in the book and merging the together. The center picture of the screen is the same as the front cover of the book. I don't if the print came out bad or this is the same for everyone but the center graphic is so high contrast that you need to squint to see details.

The Resin
I'm not really sure why GF9 uses the resin they do and then insist on making skinny parts to their minis. This resin is so rigid it cracks and/or snaps off way too easily. The mold is of high quality, which makes up for a lot, but one bad grab and you'll snap the sword right off.

Great Supplement for the Adventure
I double up this game screen with the Dragon Heist one when running my players. They ran through Dragon Heist first, and now we are on Dungeon of the Mad Mage, and so they go back and forth between Undermountain and Waterdeep from time to time. Has good info on it to keep from flipping through the book.

Bland details, I expected more from GF9
I have a couple GF9 screens and love them, the insides are filled with pertinent information useful for Dungeon Masters that need quick info on the fly about the particular module they are running. The last one I purchased was for Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, and I was happy to see the variety of tables inside.Excited about this one, I purchased it only to be mildly disappointed once I got it open. One glaring mistake I found as soon as I opened it is what I have pictures of in this review: in Dragon Heist, a list of random available eating and sleeping establishments are listed under the heading "Inns and Boarding houses" and to my surprise I see the same heading in the inside of this screen - when it's a giant dungeon, and there are no Inns nor is there information regarding Inns under the Halaster's goals section. It looks like the GF9 crew just used it as a random placeholder and then never replaced it.In other areas of the screen are the levels of undermountain by name, and the level necessary to get there, along with a variety of possible goals for Halaster print up with the PCs in his dungeon. This in my opinion is a complete waste of space as these are repeatedly referenced in the book, they aren't necessary to repeat on the screen, as well as a dungeon key filling one complete panel - when it's already on the maps. This seems lazy to me, as if the GF9 crew was in a hurry to go to print, and couldn't figure out something useful to fill the screen.I'd like to have seen more dungeon related information such as a table of noises/encounters to help give the place atmosphere, or random traps that could be encountered as the players move around, or random doors to give the place something memorable.Decent info on half the screen, the rest I'll be replacing with something of my own creation that's pertinent to the module.I hope the next screen GF9 puts out is better thought out.

3D printed
My husband bought this for our campaign and we assumed it would be prepainted based on the image. Unfortunately, that's our mistake as it wasn't. That wasn't the major issue, though. It came as an unassembled 3D print. I had to cut the pieces apart and sand them down. Something to be aware of.

One of the better GF9 D&D resin minis.
As a general rule I am not crazy about GF9 resin minis. Their casting lines are awful, some to the point of rendering the model unusable. Broken pieces, warped pieces, missing pieces...But not our stranded cannibalistic spelljamming pirate captain mind flayer! :-) I was pleasantly surprised to find everything as one would expect, and the detail was really nice. You'll still have to give the pieces a good rinse in soapy water to clear off the mold release agent from the casting process, but otherwise GF9 did a great job with this one.

Great visuals not great info
If you are anything like me you already have a, or some, DM screen(s). This one has a great image for the Dungeon of the Mad Mage, but the information for the DM just isn't as good as some of the other screens. I purchased it only for the visuals at the table thankfully. If this is your first or only DM screen, you might look at some of the others as they will supply a newer DM with better information.

Elegant Sculpt Multiple Poses
This model is intermediate difficulty to paint due to fine details in clothing. The sculpt's head, body and base are in separate pieces. This allows for minor changes in the pose of the model.I would recommend this model for painters that want to practice becoming good at fine details ( painting coat buttons, tenticals, clothing trim, etc). This figure is a great boss piece or character piece for other games then the intended role in Dungeon of the Mad Mage.

UPDATED - Shocking quality!!
I recently decided to get back into building and painting miniatures after a very long break. I had previously built Warhammer minis and thought I would give the D&D ones a try, so I could use them if I decided on playing a D&D campaign. The difference in quality between these miniatures and the Warhammer ones is EXTREME. They were horribly bent out of shape and didn’t fit together properly. They also didn’t take very well to plastic glue... which was weird for plastic models. My advice to D&D players... just go and get Warhammer minis instead. You will find models to suit your needs, and they will be brilliant. Don’t waste your time and money on this junk. After writing this review, I received another Galeforce 9 mini that came with some paints I ordered... it was a very decent quality item, clearly made from a superior material, and looked and felt nothing like this product. Not sure what the story is, but either the company has wildly different ranges of products or there is something else going on.

Great miniature with a production flaw
The miniature looks great, unique and is highly detailed.Unfortunately, the resin on the sprue casting process makes this model prone to breakages and mistakes during assembly. The middle of the sword broke with a small amount of force due to a pre-existing crack during casting and it's really thin design. Ultimately, it can be resolved with super glue though I do wish this was model pre-assembled.

Printing error (probably)
There are a lot of problems which seems to be from printing. I wouldn’t recommend this item. Poor quality

Leider schlechte Qualität
Muss man leider lange bearbeiten, bevor man die Figur bemalen kann. Echt nicht gut gemacht.
