I have a small piece of wooden furniture weighting about 15 pounds which sits on a smooth hardwood floor. Even a small bump would move it out of place, so I was looking for something to help keep it in place. I tried felt pads, but still too slippery. Self-sticking bumpers might have worked, but they tend to fall off.After reading dozens of reviews on Amazon I focused on this product, which is available from multiple vendors. It absolutely does the job: the furniture stays put, but can be slid easily when needed.The pads are made of a fairly hard but flexible clear material. Each one is secured with a single #6 x 3/4." stainless steel screw. These are provided, together with a few extras. The pads have a molded-in steel washer to prevent the screws from pulling through.To attach to wood, drill a 1/16 inch pilot hole 1/2 inch deep, insert the screw in the pad, then drive the screw with a #2 Phillips screwdriver until the pad won't rotate easily.I expect to be using these or smaller round pads of the same material on many projects!

I like that the pads have a metal washer embedded to ensure a longer life. I am using these under four legs of a very heavy solid oak table to protect the floor. On time this makes the table very stable and no likely to be easily slid or moved.

Perfect for what I needed. Keeps my wood furniture from sliding on my wood floors without scuff marks or needing an expensive rug.

Good solid rubber material with a metal plate inside for strength and stability. Provided screws were good quality. They have held up well.

Perfect for kitchen chairs on stone floor. Doesn’t drag or damage feet anymore. Pads are a little thicker than I thought but not noticable.
