Perfect Fit !
To monitor coolant temperature in my car engine, I installed this joint pipe into the top radiator hose. A simple process of cutting a short section out of the hose , then a perfect easy push-fit for the ends of the hose onto the joint piece, and then securing with provided circular clips. Manufacturer provided size diameter guide to suit intended hose size for ordering purposes ... useful ! A 'threaded' insert is on top of the adaptor for a temperature sensor to be screwed in, to come in contact with the coolant ,and which can be wire connected to a suitable dial gauge. A screw down fixing is also attached to the adaptor for earthing the sensor. A solidly made little item . Does the job. Compatible screw-in sensors also available on Amazon, as are dial gauges and low amperage connecting wire. Really pleased !

Good value, but don't rely on the hose clamps fitting !
Good value and well finished, it's just a pity the supplied clamps are useless - for the 36mm hose adapter, the hose clamps just fit over the bare hose whch means they dont fit once the hose is fitted over the adapter.

Need to buy additional jubilee clips
Product came with small jubilee clips which did not go round the inlet hose, if the inlet hose is 38mm then the clips need to be larger than the 40mm which came with it, if it had come with the correction sized clips then I would of given it a 5*

Robust adaptor
Purchased to fit in the top hose of a Toyota Alphard so that I could fit a water temp gauge on the dash

Poor quality but will do the job.
Pretty poor quality compared to other ones one here. I had a blue one off someone else and it was spot on. This one is very poor. Look at others.

perfect for working along side with the water temperature gauge I made a mistake of buying the wrong size so double check your pipe sizes but wonderful product cant fault tje xompany
