Very nice fan/light combo.
Bought 5 of these after seeing them in the Showhouse where we were buying a home. Beautiful fans, quiet, attractive, and do a great job. Hubby installed them and they all look wonderful. Would thoroughly recommend them!

Initial thoughts good solid ceiling fan~ now not so sure?
The good: very sturdy, no wobble right out of the box. A weight kit was included but not needed. 3 well spaced fan speeds. I find that some fans do not go slow enough on low, this one is fine. The fan is also extremely quiet, great for a bedroom.Not so good: NO CONTACT NUMBER WHATSOEVER PROVIDED BY THE MANUFACTURER. Very limited "trouble shooting" info provided. Only an address in GA provided for "return authorizations." The frosted globe is big... like 12" or more. That's not necessarily bad, just be prepared for it.Note: The unit is designed to be powered by one on/off wall switch. ALL controls of the light and fan speeds are done with the remote, so don't lose it! The only control on the fan itself is the reverse switch. If you switch the unit off with the wall switch it WILL return to the previous fan & light settings when the wall switch is turned back on. The blades hang approx. 13" below the ceiling. I installed this unit to replace an older 2 wall switch unit (one for fan, one for light. One switch now simply does nothing). The bulbs are included, 3x40 watt candelabra base, kind of a waste with a frosted bulb. I'll probably switch them out for some CFL's.UPDATE: DAY 3 AND UNIT IS NOT RESPONDING TO REMOTE CONTROL. NOT SURE WHAT'S GOING ON.

Fabulous! Avoid default setting
My neighbor's fan turned our fan and light on and off and vice versa. Do not use preset setting. You can choose a different setting. I think this is simple to fix pre installation. Ours was up for more than a year. After many months, he switched channels (?) and we only have occasional glitches. Not sure if remote needs same resetting. Much easier to do pre install than to take down and do later. Great fan. Super happy. Searched for it for more than a year. Will buy more.
