I'm pleased with this product. Two in the pack so I keep one upstairs and one downstairs. I've had them for a couple of weeks and using them with panache! The duster itself feels quite substantial, especially the end . It feels well padded and you can't feel the end of the pole at all. I haven't washed it yet. Washing happens under the tap. You can't take the duster off the pole. I don't think this is a problem. In fact, it probably adds to the sturdiness since it's stuck on well and there'll be no tendency to become loose over time and fly of the pole. I haven't investigated if other products allow you to do that so one can stick it in the washing machine. In any case, I think it probably only requires a gentle rinse under warm running water- using a little soap/detergent if necessary. I'm only just over 5feet and when the handle's fully extended, I can reach pretty much all corners and covings and certainly all light fittings in a standard height room in the UK. would have to have a step ladder for a ceilings in Victorian or Edwardian properties. And I can reach across the top of the stair well to dust the ceiling and walls above the stairs.When the handle is fully extended, there's a collar to hold it in place and the whole thing feels pretty good in terms of balance, stability, weight. The price for the two was quite acceptable and the prime delivery was as expected. Pretty good all round so I'm happy to recommend it.

I would certainly give this five stars plus......a delight to use, reaches my ceiling, no excuse for cobwebs now. Spiders thing of the past, they cling on until window is open then a quick shake and spiders fly off to the Unknown.....having the purchase of two magic wands (as I call them) dusting high and low is not a problem as I am a senior lady, even reaching the top of my shower makes this an delight. I intend buying more as gifts for friends who I know will love them. I would even suggest that they would be ideal for a car owner reaching these awkward places inside the car., price too is great. My advise would be, buy now, you will be happy with your purchase.

The dusters consist of two strong aluminium tubes (a little thinner than a broom handle) that slide over each other via plastic collar which can be tightened at the desired length. Not the longest extendible duster I've seen (longer than the average walking stick), but can reach all the parts of my house including ceiling above stair-well. The business end consitists of the tube covered by a length of plastic padding (similar to pipe insulation) and a chenille cover which can be removed for washing. This gives quite a firm/ridgid cleaner compared to a feather or wooly duster or one of those you can bend to shape. They have done everything I want so far and may be useful for some wet tasks (e.g. washing high windows or the roof of the car). Great value if this is what you're after and it is great to have two in a pack, as one can live upstairs and one down. Hope that helps.

Reordered for a friend....they are an excellent product.... really pleased with them. Pick up dust so easily dust really sticks to it and doesn't fly off.... easy to reach places that are awkward really makes a big difference and extends. After ... I use a rubber glove and give it a good wipe off then after a few uses ...wash... it comes off easily ,..not sure if it can be tumble dried which would help as it takes a while to dry but as you have a spare....

If you are a little vigorous then the telescopic handle retracts bit by bit. Although the materials used seem like good sturdy quality.Doesn’t go flat enough to go inbetween blinds as it is too bulky a head.Head Doesn’t angle so it is extremely basic. But you get what you pay for to be honest. No thrills but dusts well enough.You’ll need separate dusters if you have higher ceilings or if you wanna get inbetween blinds or if you want to dust round corners. So I would suggest paying a little more and getting a duster that can solve all the above.

The double pack was great as it meant I could have one myself and give the other to my mum.Arrived promptly, simple to use and extend, works efficiently. Now I can reach all those neglected corners untouched for years!!

Brought these as always had a feather duster. Fabulous piece of kit. So much stronger and you get 2 in a pack. Great value for money. Would definitely purchase again.
