I used this item in my beach theme office with a sheer curtain. It holds the curtain well and doesn't slide down. Since the curtain is thin, I was able to wrap the rope around the starfish twice which caused a unique circular design behind the starfish. The starfish and rope are not white... More like an ivory color which matches perfectly with all my decor. This piece certainly adds character to the room!

I wasn’t sure how to make these work. The starfish are connected to a lot of rope that is not needed. I also thought when I bought one that I was actually going to get two, as why would anyone sell them one by one? Plus just for the one it’s just expensive. So I got the one and realized I had to order another. The second one was the same, lots of extra rope that you have to wrap around your curtain panel a few times. It doesn’t show this in the picture so I’m not sure I put it up right. If it wasn’t for the price and them not coming in a pair, and no instructions as to how you use the extra rope them I would just love them.

Don't like this at ALL. There is no way to tie in the back to keep it together, or to close it. Wish I hadn't gotten it.

Returned because the color showed it was white and it wasn’t . It was beige

This tie back is well made and large. The rope portion is ivory-beige and the starfish is white. I have ruffle wave sheer curtains in my daughter's mermaid themed room. I did have to loop the tie backs around 2-3 times .

I placed an order of 4 of these and I was very shocked at the size differences. These are real starfish, so I understand that in nature, there are different sizes, I was just hoping for more consistency as the largest is 9 inches wide and the smallest is 5 inches.Also, as per other reviewers have mentioned, these are beige/cream coloured and the not white that is pictured.
