I should have bought some hose clamps years ago. Quite cheap and does the job. Saved hours of brake bleeding on my motorcycle. A little difficult to fit on the rear hoses, but there wasn't much room anyway!

Simple easy-to-use works well

Laser products can usually be good but this basic item is to basic, merely an L shaped block of metal with hole drilled to fit a 90 degree bent bar with screw thread through, a small wing nut attached to tighten the bar. These purchased as being small one thought they would fit into confined spaces, however when fitted to a 15mm hose the wing nut to small to tighten enough to compress the hose sufficiently to stop the flow of fluid, to much tightening resulted in the thin 8mm bar digging into the hose misshaping the hose. These clamps may work on small diameter hose with a narrow bore but for bigger bore hoses they are difficult to use, to small to get sufficient purchase on the wing nut to tighten, thicker walled hoses requiring more force than can be applied by fingers. Unfortunately their restricted usage has left them relegated to a draw as not my first choice as a hose clamp.
