RJC womens Sundress

The product is as it says on the tin, but I’m not partial to the fabric or the cut of the dress. It’s sort of wine-glass shaped when you put it on, and I feel like I was expected more of an a-line dress. The fabric was more of a canvas-y fabric and I would have preferred something softer.

When I was in Hawaii, I bought one of these dresses and always wished I had bought more. This dress is in crisp cotton, not the soft rayon like the one I bought in Waikiki. However, this is the fabric that is sold in the fabric stores there, so it is more authentic. Order a size larger if you don't like a snug fit.

I was surprised at how stiff the fabric was, making the skirt rather poofy. The smocked bodice felt uncomfortable to me with the stiff fabric. Not sure if it would have softened up and relaxed with a couple of washes? Color and design were just as pictured. For the price, I wasn't as impressed as I had hoped so I returned this product.

Great quality, and just what I needed for a Lilo costume. I ordered the large, since I read the reviews that it ran small -- definitely glad that I did! For anyone curious of the length, I'm 5'3, and the dress hit at my knees. Love that you can wear this with straps or without, too!

This dress was perfect for our Hawaiian surfer party, all my guest loved it. The dress was a little stiff out of the package but once it was washed it felt very comfortable. Use a sheet that prevents bleeding when you wash this for the first time. I wear a size 10P and the medium fit great, it does fit snug to the chest because of the stretchy smocking. I would recommend this for casual, comfortable dress.

Overall I like this dress and it fits well, but the material is super rough and not very nice to wear or touch.
