I bought this to brayer cold wax medium mixed with oil paint. As soon as I pulled it out of the package and rolled it across my counter top I noticed a wobble. Upon closer inspection I saw that there was a bulge under one end of the rubber sleeve so it doesn't make contact, moving up and down like a tire with a flat spot, only the opposite. Even without that defect, this is not a good brayer to use with CWM because it is actually a fairly firm, thin rubber over a harder plastic core. It is likely good for applications where you need to apply very firm pressure and don't want a soft foam. I rated it 2 star because it came defective, and because it is incorrectly described as soft foam.

Buyer Beware! These are extremely hard brayers, NOT soft ones. I was told they were NOT RETURNABLE. Not what I needed. A total rip-off!

The worst! Tried these for my gel plate& there are lines everywhere no matter how I use it... lifting it and not lifting it. Yes I like texture with my gel prints but on my terms not little lines EVERYWHERE. I’d give it a zero if I could and I don’t typically write bad reviews.

This is the first brayer I've ever bought. So I may be off base here, but I would not consider the rubber to be "soft". It's so hard that you can not press your finger nail into it at all. Not even a tiny bit.

Pretty good for what they are I wish the rubber was a little softer for what I am using it for. But over all good quality.

Misleading description; NOT soft rubber, in fact, very hard rubber

I liked the width but the actual output was sketchy. The actual roller ws not soft.

As others have said, they are not soft rubber brayers.They are well made hard brayers.
