Amazon Basics Fade-Resistant Cotton Bath Towel - 4-Pack, Black

To tell the truth, I did not purchase this particular towel for my bathroom. I purchased it for my car to protect the seat from the rigors of Costco boxes and transporting any number of items that could scuff the upholstery. Also, we live in the tropics and the seats can get very hot! Always keeping a towel on the seat. Prevents leg burns. We also keep a black towel in the car for when we go to the beach. No more spending hours, vacuuming the car. Just hop in, wipe your feet on the towel and then shake it out when we get home. A black towel doesn’t show stains from dirty, sandy, or even muddy feet. In addition, we routinely use a black towel to throw over any items in the car that someone might want to steal. Hey, people, it’s a reality these days. Who knew that a black towel had so many uses. I bought these towels because they were very reasonably priced for two towels. I did not expect that they would be so high-quality! They are oversized and very soft and fluffy, absorbent and thick. The quality is outstanding for the money. So, whether or not your home decor calls for black towels, everyone needs them. These are the ones you should buy.

Basic bath towel. No they aren’t hotel plush, but they do hold up well, and provide a good value product for the price. We leave ours in indirect and partial direct sun on the "lanai" all year; use them constantly, and wash them frequently- still hold their color, look, and utility.

Towels are ridiculously expensive and I searched high and low for affordable towels. When I saw these on sale, I instantly bought some, not expecting they would be so good. These towels are not rough on the skin and they are very absorbant (I hate towels that are so fluffy, that they just wipe water around your skin instead of absorbing it!) The towels wash well and the color has stayed nice and even after a good few washes. The towels produce quite a bit of lint in the dryer, but I think no more than any other towels I have owned. These towels don't leave bits of lint on my body as other cheaper towels have in the past and are a good size for wrapping around my body and my hair.

Update: I purchased 2 - loved them. Bought a set of 4 (see below). I did order more, but in the meantime the hems started falling out of 3 towels, a couple hand towels and the wash cloths. I do like that they are fade resistant and color is still the same. Would buy again, but hesitantly. These are the best towels, I bought 2 more. They truly are bleach fade resistant. Got the second set months after the first and the color looks the same-can’t tell old from the new. Soft. Medium thickness. Bought the hand towels and washclothes too.

I bought two crimson colored bath sheets for a very low price. I figured if they were awful, we could use them for household or outside tasks. These bath sheets are big and true to color. They aren't super thick but they do absorb moisture after my shower. I have not seen any lint or residue on my body after using the towels but they do "shed" a bit in the dryer. I noticed some crimson lint in the trap each time I washed them. Nothing major though. The bath sheets are clearly not luxury ones but I paid about $8.00 for two, regular price. They are as good as big box store brand towels and cost less. The bath sheets are huge and dry my body and hair with just one whereas I usually use separate towels for my body and hair. These are fine for everyday use. The seams are fine, the absorbency is good. and the price can't be beat. I have also tried their washcloths and they were fine as well. They weren't linty and they didn't shrink at all when washed. I am shocked by the photos of the lint and damage that these towels have. Mine honestly don't have those issues. Maybe down the line they will but they have been washed and dried three or four times and they're fine. I don't know if I just got lucky or what but I am buying a set of brown bath sheets right now. If those are awful, I will update this review and rerate. I went with 3 stars because these really are just average. But the price is very good and I am content with average as long as they don't shed all over me and they don't.

Got these "on sale" and I am very happy with them. They did not shed as much as I had feared--practically not at all. They have been washed repeatedly and hold their shape, are soft and highly absorbent. I've not had color bleeding or any issues that some reviews have noted. I only purchased a couple at first, but have gone back and bought more since they are so nice.

I like the reduced thickness because I live in a humid area and mildew/mold are a problem. Therefore a towel that is not so thick is better because it will dry out hanging on the rack between uses. It also dries faster in the clothes dryer, which means less electricity/gas to dry it, which saves money! They are not as plush as more expensive towels, but sufficiently absorbent and not scratchy.

It's quality was the thing i was worried for when i ordered this product from amazon but when i get it , it was excatly what is shown in picture so i got satisfied on that basis only it is soft and affordable. Also absorbs sufficient amount of water.
