A People's Curriculum for the Earth: Teaching About the Environmental Crisis

I used this book to write a climate change unit for my 5th graders. The book is well organized, informative, and contains lots of interesting articles and activities. Some of the articles included were a little bit difficult for my students, but I was able to use much of the material in the book.

I bought this book and created almost 5 complete lessons in one day!

This book helps me to be part of a global group of educators who understand that the most important curriculum doesn't just have climate change mentioned prominently, it IS the curriculum.After teaching general JH/HS music for many years, I would routinely include climate change info into my lessons. This was the number one resource.As great as the web is for finding communities and resources, I find myself always coming back to this book.
