Great Practice Kit!
This kit is a bit pricey if I’m being honest, but the quality of materials is pretty good. The skin pad is very realistic and highlights the different layers of the dermis. You eventually learn not to knot too hard as the pad will fold. The tools provided are sufficient. The metal seems a bit thin and cheap, but this is a practice kit after all. It comes with plenty of practice sutures that are different material composition, which is excellent to get a feel for. All in all, would definitely recommend.

Decent tools but tough skin and flimsy needles
The suture kit itself has all of the tools that you need to learn how to throw basic ties and learn how to instrument tie. It has a needle driver, scissors, pick-ups, as well as a scalpel and blades to learn how to cut. The tools themselves are good quality and are durable. The needle driver locks and unlocks well which is good so the needle does not slip out. Also, they give you many different styles of practice sutures to try from which makes this product a good deal. This kit is ideal for learning how to tie surface/top stitches. Some of the downsides are the suture pad itself. The silicone is a bit tough and had to suture. Also it is difficult to practice deep suturing since it is hard to take the deep bites needed for a proper deep suture. Also the needles are big and hard to use on a smaller suture pad like this. But overall, it is a good choice for a beginner learning how to suture.

great tool
for the price, no complaints from this guy, plenty of sutures provided with the box to get good reps in and build up confidence and muscle memory. i will mention the sutures can break pretty easily when pulling to bring the skin together, but for training purposes it's good enough. i get batches of expired suture from my clinic so it's not a huge issue for me but something to note. skin material seems high quality and durable. it does tend to pick up all sorts of hairs somehow (even on a clean glass table) but it cleans very easily, you can just rinse with water and dry. the instruments are standard quality and workable but i did swap them out for my slightly fancier and personal preferred ones (i hate the curved hemostats). overall, great to practice and would recommend.

Helpful tool to learn how to suture and tie knots
Decent product for the price point. Bought 2 to give to my scrub technicians who want to learn how to suture. In the old days we used pigs feet to practice...

I’m a newbie to suturing but it worked well and the equipment from the silicon wounds to the forceps and needles were pretty good quality like the ones my med school gave us to practice on!

Well designed/made, I've used the kit twice now and it simulates human skin well. Great practice kit for medical students.

Tools are ok, sutures are decent, the pad is good for normal sutures like a running suture, but not good for subcuticular sutures
