Great for vet tech students
As a vet tech student I find this travel size reference guide very helpful, there is lots of info and a good refresher on a lot of topics, would like some labeled anatomy photos but it’s jam packed with info and is a great value for the price

Too Basic & General for Pet Owners
I am a life-long pet owner, not a vet or student, but sadly this book lacks the breadth and depth of information I had hoped for. I've used Mosbys guides quite a bit for (human) medical and drug info to help educate myself, and I anticipated that this reference would be similar, but it doesn't list all of the medications my cats have been prescribed over the years, and only includes a sentence or two to sum up the conditions it included. Useful in the right circumstances, and for beginners such as students, I imagine, who only need a reference for the most common ailments, and the most popular prescribed medications. It won't be much help to the pet owner wanting to learn more about their pets' medical issues and the medications they've been prescribed

Great, brief and quick reference guide!
There is a ton of information, and it’s great! But I was really hoping for more of potential side effects of the drugs (Only some have one or two listed, others none). Or like more for injections/locations of injections (It’s extremely brief and not much info for new employees to get more then just the “here are the three veins used and one picture of IM and SQ injections“). Third, I was really hoping it had a firmer or harder cover. The cover is the same thin paper used inside the book and the pages get folded in your pocket.Otherwise, it is a very huge help for quick reference and great small size! Did receive quickly and in great shape.

Worth the money for quick reference.
I like this little book it fits in a smock pocket. full of information and quick answers I do believe it is water or fluid proof. Nice procreative feature. light weight.I have nothing bad to say about this little book.

Great Pocket Reference Guide!
I like that it easily fits in my scrub pocket or purse! I keep it handy with me at work to refer to for things every so often!Easy to use and find information. I use it when I'm training new hires to better explain certain things! great for newbie technicians and even some that have been at it a while. Contains tons of useful information.

Disappointing
I downloaded the manual as a quick reference guide for diagnostics, medications, and procedures for livestock and found it was only for dogs and cats. Essentially a useless waste of money for large animals.

So convenient!
This is a great little book. I keep it in my scrub pocket at work in case I need a quick reference. It's got a lot of great information in it and so far it all appears to be accurate. This could only get more perfect if there were a section of blank lined pages in the back for my own notes on things.

Awesome to have!
Love love love. I have 2 different jobs in the vet field. This is an awesome reference to thing I may have forgotten. I will say some of the things covered are very basic but it's great. Everyone is always commenting on it. Also the ruler as come in hand for my Drs to measure things with for medical notes. Now if they had one with more drugs in vet med. I'd be so happy

Loads of great information but good for Americans
Was a great little book but I had to return because it seems more helpful in America than the UK with the medications and the vaccines which is what I mainly wanted it for

Amazing little book
I am currently a veterinary technician student in my second year. A colleague recommended this book to me and I'm glad I listened to her. The facts are up to date and easy to find. I will definitely keep recommending it and will keep buying new editions when they come out.

Not what I was expecting
I am currently in my third year of animal health technology. I thought this would be a life saver but I've had this in my pocket for the last 2 weeks and haven't used it yet. Might be good for a beginner who doesnt have a lot of clinical experience. I do like that it is color coated though!
