This pin is high quality. Easy to use and has extra length to accommodate your set up. The keys are nice. I have seen and used many tow hitch pins working in the RV towing business. This one checks all the boxes when it comes to a good reliable locking pin. I like that the key only needs to be turned a quarter turn to release the lock. The weatherproof cap keeps out the grit and moisture. I purchased this pin to tow a 30ft travel trailer and a 5x10 covered trailer. Many miles later, pin shows only slight wear at the contact/stress points, and only the paint/coating has worn off ... the metal is fine.

Fit my 2016 4Runner perfectly with length to spare. I didn't measure but it probably has about 3/4" to spare which is nice, makes installation a little easier. Lock seems decent and the rubber cap is a nice touch, hopefully it holds up throughout the seasons. UPDATE: Nearly a year later the product is holding up well. The finish has dulled and the knurling is rusting a little bit, but the lock works as new and the rubber cap is still holding up well (no cracking, rotting, etc.). I do wish there was a groove on the locking end to help hold the retention loop for the rubber cap because it tends to slide down to the end and makes it a little more difficult to replace the cap. I would still definitely recommend this product.

For 5 or 6 years I had a Master Lock receiver lock. It worked great. But when we got a Toyota Tundra, I found that the receiver is wider than the lock would handle. I just used the old manual pin through the receiver. But a friend had his hitch stolen off his truck while camping. I decided to get a new lock. This fits the wider receiver. It goes on and off easily. There's no way to accidentally not lock the pin. The key stays in unless it is locked. It's a great lock.

Application: 2012 4Runner class 3 stock hitch. Just installed; very good quality. I can't say hay the rubber cap that covers the key hole will hold up to weather but looks great now. I purchased for extra length as opposed to the master lock I had previous. The master had to be in the perfect position to get it to lock, would get stuck in the class 3 hitch when I tried to remove. I had to force it through to attach the lock end and needed a mallet to get it back out sometime. It drove me nuts since I'm always changing out hitches to racks etc The extra 1" or so gives you plenty of play for easy access to installing and unlocking. Who cares if it can slide back and forth a little. I'll never know or hear it. Would recommend this product over similar lock pins/

The truck is new, the hitch is new, and the lock has not received any wear and tear to comment on. Looks great new. The key is easy to operate. The dust cap fits snug. I like the black color. I like the way both ends are tapered somewhat the same. Gives it a balanced look. Most importantly it is rated for 32k. The hitch I own is rated at 16K. Towing max for the truck it is used on is 18.5K. I will never hit those numbers but good to know because I didn't purchase this lock just for looks. Recommend.

Good product strong and seals up so easy to to remove with keys even after three years.

Exactly as advertised. Just what I was looking for, works perfectly!

I like the moisture cap that is included. But as winter is soon approaching, spray a small amount of any lubricant into the keyhole.
