I was very frustrated with steel lunch boxes because of various reasons, that I discarded them and started using attractive branded plastic tiffin containers with leak proof lids. Everything was fine till one day. I read somewhere that plastic is harmful for health. I used to pack hot steaming food in those plastic containers without understanding that it causes Cancer.So I began my search and I must say it was not easy to find a suitable lunch box that fit my requirements and was also in my budget.Finally, I Found this Vava Tyffyn. It was little out of my budget but I still decided to buy it as I prefer health over anything. As we know,HEALTH is WEALTH.I received the product last week and have been using it regularly since then. I have got to say that it is pretty good. Here are my initial experiences with this 'Tyffyn'_____________________WHAT's IN THE BOX..??-----------------------------------1. The whole Vaya Tyffyn unit2. User ManualsThe dimensions of the Vaya Tyffyn are:Width- 6.3 inchesHeight- 4.9 inchesDepth- 4.5 inchesIts weight is 0.8 KgsInside the Outer unit there are 2 inner containers with 300 ml capacity. So total capacity is 600 ml. There are also 2 plastic partitions given which you can insert inside the containers to divide them into two equal halves. The food dividers are Made of high quality plastic, as they claim, are also FDA approved and made from BPA free plastic.__________UNBOXING-----------------I am writing about unboxing because the unboxing experience was very pleasant. It was packed in a very nice, quality cardboard box. Opening it, you are greeted with the message "lunch, improved"So that's pretty awesome. So the packaging and unboxing really impressed me.Another thing is that the Tyffyn wass packed in simple environment friendly cardboard box. Well, it doesn't matter much but it is better to use a cardboard box than use a plastic one and become a part in destroying the nature. I always love companies which use cardboard boxed. I hope that other companies also take inspiration and do what is really needed in this crucial time.___________OVERVIEW------------------So coming to the tyffyn itself. The tyffyn comes with a handle which helps you to carry it around. It also has latches on both the sides which help your lunch box to stay in its place and avoid accidental leakages. As mentioned there are 2 inner containers each with a capacity of 300 ml. They are covered with Lids. The lids have finger grips to insert your finger in which helps in opening them.________BAGMAT-------------The tyffyn comes with a BagMat which you can use as a carrying bag to place the tyffyn inside and carry it around. It primarily serves as a tablemat. You can keep your lunch on this tablemat and have it. The BagMat also comes with a shoulder strap which you can choose to put or on otherwise. It also includes a detachable and washable cutlery pocket.______________BUILD QUALITY------------------------According to me, looks are what this tyffyn is all about. It looks very premium and has very nice finish. The quality of the plastic used is too good and it is FDA Approved and BPA Free. The plastic lids are also quite tight and you don't need to worry about leakage. Just remember to open them with patience as they are little tight in the initial days.The tyffyn, though, is quite heavy at 0.8 Kgs. You can feel the weight. The weight will increase when you put food inside. Remember this when you purchase. However, quality comes at a price but in this case a lot of prices :-)___________CONTAINER------------------Well, a tyffyn is all about its containers. The containers are pretty good & I didn't find any problems with them. They look good and are coated with copper. There is no leakage. For me, the quantity is sufficient as I only take 1 vegetable and some chapatis for lunch. However, if you want more capacity then go for the 1000 ml version.___________________HOT FOOD or NOT..??--------------------------------What use of a tyffyn is there if it can't keep your food warm, if not HOT??Well, I won't go into technical details like this tyffyn uses VacuTherm technology etc etc to keep food hot.The tyffyn can keep your food hot for 2 hours and warm for 4 hours max to max. Not more than that. But for me, eating food warm is better than eating cold foot where all the chapatis get hard and all the enjoyment of food is lost. Also, along with the hotness I also focus on non-toxic food and some other lunch boxes might keep your lunch hot for many hours but will not provide clean food like in this tyffyn where the food is kept inside copper and stainless steel._____________FINAL WORDS----------------------I would say that you can buy this tyffyn if you want to lead a healthy life. I know that it is not a bang for the buck but it is acceptable. It fulfills my daily needs and that's what is more important. I have not encountered with any damage to the tyffyn like other people have mentioned. This tyffyn also makes a very good gifting option. The Vaya tyffyn is bit heavier compared to plastic tiffins. That is because the outer shell is made of copper which retains heat. This tyffyn is also Easy to clean since it is made up of copper and stainless steel, there are no marks of stains and food smell after washing as opposed to plastic. But you cannot use it in a dishwasher.So finally it is an average deal, not the best one but is acceptable. The main problem of this tyffyn is that it is priced at Rs 2500 which is a little costly. Price it between Rs 1600-1800 and it will become one of the best deals available in the market.Hope I helped YOU.THANKS

Have been using this vaya tiffins for quite sometime. The quality has slightly come down compared to their initial products. It is an expensive buy . But would prefer some compact designs so that they can be carried in bags easily.

It's a brand hype.. mayb for d cost d quality is not so good. Quality of Steel with usage of jus 5 days showed signs of corrosion. Water marks which Cid not b removed made it look ugly. If there is a premium cost then yes these things do matter. Additionally the food was not exceptionally than warm. Other brands aajao keep d food warm.. this one keyur it mayb 15-20% more warmer.. but if d quality of the material is better one can still think of buying it. I think with this price any other good required brand 3 such tiffins can b bought!!I had bought it with lot of hopes but... 🥲🥲🥲

The lunch box looks very classy and easy to handle. Had to return it as it was way too small. Ordered for a 3 tier lunch box instead.

The media could not be loaded.  Sacrément belle cette lunchbox « tout en or », classe à l’extérieur comme à l’intérieur. C’est aussi la seule de mon comparatif sur Ecolozen qui se veut isotherme. Malgré tout, son poids record (1.4 kg, plus lourd que l’ordinateur avec lequel j’écris cet avis !) et ses compartiments relativement petits ne conviendraient pas à mon utilisation de végétarien (besoin d'un grand volume pour le légumes). D’autre part, il faut soit mettre de la nourriture chaude le matin avant de partir avec (ce qui peut être adapté pour une utilisation en pic-nic mais pas vraiment pour manger le midi au bureau), soit vider les contenants dans une assiette pour chauffage au micro-ondes au bureau. Du coup, pour moi, ce n’est pas un choix judicieux. Pour finir, côté étanchéité, mon test (remplissage d’eau) montre que les boîtes gouttent quand on les met sur le côté. Assez étanche pour de la nourriture sans trop de sauce, mais pas pour des soupes ou grandes quantités de sauce.

If you only need to keep your food hot for between 5-6 hours or less you're fine. Any longer its barely warm...😐😈😢 It's edible I'd say but its like luke warm if you need to keep it in the tin for longer than 6 hours!Unfortunately I have to, soo....!!! Lmao. Buy at your own discretion, depends what you need it for & what you expect it to be capable of doing!Hope this helps people! Also not tried the "keeping food cold" option yet coz I haven't had to! Also on the official Tyffin Website ut says it keeps ice cream cold...unsure how that's going to work!!! 😐If I was to give feedback for the makers! I'd say try & make the product not as heavy...1.1kg plus your food weight...! 😐 Also make the actual space for your food wider! Its width is good, but again not great!For e.g. A standard sized Jacket Tayta with melted cheese on top is squashed...! 🙈

Je cherchais une boîte repas avec plusieurs compartiments empilables, pour emporter des repas pour une journée. J'ai choisi ce pack car c'est le plus esthétique (j'ai horreur de ceux qui sont en plastique noir, ou en couleurs pastel), il n'est pas en plastique (potentiellement mauvais pour la santé), on peut utiliser tout le pack pour emporter une journée de repas, ou alors un seul compartiment pour une petite collation, et il contient tous les accessoires nécessaires voire plus. En plus des compartiment de différentes profondeur, il y a des séparations pour l'intérieur des compartiments, une housse qui peut s'ouvrir entièrement avec une fermeture éclair pour devenir un set de table, lequel a même une sorte de poche pour glisser des couverts, et une bandoulière qui s'accroche à la housse. Il ne manque vraiment rien !

I got the Vaya Tyffyn 1000ml. Really impressed with the design and packing. High class item.I am giving this product 5/5 stars because it out reaches my expectations. Cool design and it packs the heat very well. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends.3 boxes inside it, holds enough amount of food and it keeps hold the heat.
