Perfect subtle dye
I have dark blonde hair and this strawberry blonde is the perfect subtle dye for me. It's just enough to give a red tint without drastically changing the color of my hair. It's most visible in light, when there isn't direct light on my hair the red tint goes away.

Great product
Love tinting my hair with this strawberry henna blend. I am naturally blonde and dilute this henna cassia mix with a natural and sulfate-free conditioner. My hair becomes a beautiful strawberry blonde. Sunlight enriches the colors so go have some fun in the sun afterwards! Fun tip - add pumpkin-pie inspired spices /warming spices like cinnamon and ginger to your henna mixture to smell like a pumpkin spice latte as you have a mini- private spa experience and let the color soak into your hair. Also put a ski-hat on over the plastic wrap to keep in heat. Avoid metal utensils and bowls (as the instructions suggest). Great product and I continue to use!If you’re blonde the strawberry blonde henna blend will deepen/darken your hair a bit and give it a brassy/warm/honey hue as the more rich strawberry/red hues naturally fade over time. It’s subtle enough that if you dilute with conditioner your hair will look great as the color fades and your cooler-blonde roots grown in. Henna does dry your hair a bit so lots of conditioner the first few days after you treat your hair. No chemical dyes after because once you color your hair with henna it will react badly to commercial hair dye. So go henna or go artificial color but do not do both. I prefer henna due to its natural look and the affordability! I can color my hair myself without chemicals. Great product for me!

Does not cover grey hair at all
I really wanted to switch to a natural hair dye and henna seemed like the way to go. Read the reviews, followed the instructions step by step and even let the henna set for an extra hour just to be sure. It unfortunately did not cover any of my grey hair. It actually made them stand out more. I had to recolor my hair the next day with the regular dye I normally use. Very bummed as I have half a jar left I can’t do anything with, would not recommend for grey hair at all unfortunately.

Definitely strawberry blonde!
I have used henna in the past and I love how healthy it makes my hair look and feel. I wanted to dye my ash blonde hair a warmer hue but not full on red. I liked the other reviews on this product so I gave it a shot.If you don’t know that henna is extremely permanent, don’t buy this product. Henna is nearly impossible to remove, so get ready for commitment!I read the instructions after scanning the QR code on the container. I did not add any tea or coffee, only a small amount of ACV. I blended it with hot boiling water to get a muddy consistency. After it cooled enough to touch it, I applied at my roots first then massaged into the rest of my hair. I covered my head with a plastic cap then let it work it’s magic for exactly an hour. It is difficult to wash out! It gets a little hard and I like to use conditioner to wash it out. Make sure you rinse, rinse, rinse! Until the water runs clear.I am pleased with the color and conditioning of the product. In the sunlight it is more golden and I’m my bathroom lighting it is more strawberry. The last picture is my ash blonde hair before I colored it. Oh- it did cover my gray hairs because I used the ACV.

Know what you are ordering.
This was the first time I had used any Henna of any type. I should have researched better. It is a little awkward to use, also makes very light colored hair come up "orangey". The price was right, but it is henna and it stains. For me, I would not use it again, but it worked, and thank goodness it is fading.

Messy but amazing results
I had a thematic hair event a few months ago. I accidentally used aPotent toning shampoo while visiting family and the shampoo/condition stripped my natural ginger hair. I always use a tinted shampoo to give my hair a bit deeper red so I am not sure if this had something to do with why it did such a harsh color pull but it has been a pain. For the past few months I have been trying to get the bottom of my hair back toMatching my roots & have been unsuccessful. But this henna has done the trick.Firstly my package did not come with a cap or gloves like other people said that theirs did so be prepared to have those at home. I was super excited to try my henna as soon as I got in the mail and I was frantically looking for gloves in my house because I didn't want to have to go to the store but I still wanted to do my hair the day I got it.I used the strawberry blonde color- 4oz with 2 cups water, 1 egg, 2 tbsp olive oil & 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar. I left the mixture on about 45 minutes and the color turned out great. Almost a perfect match to the top layers on my hair. The process of henna is SO DIFFERENT than boxed dyes so if this is your first time using henna do you research. I know how messy and time consuming it is so I prepared.Adding henna to your hair event is like trying to pull sand mixed with mud through your hair. It is goopy and hard and take some work. I'd say about 20 minutes just to get an even application. Before I wrapped my hair up I immediately started wiping splatters and threw everything I used like towels, wash clothes, the sure I was wearing and the rug I was setting on and hot water in the washer. I wanted to avoid as much training as possible and believe me this stuff will stain your countertops quick. The photos I show posted about 10 minutes after I had put the mixture in my hair and then after I put cellophane on excuse the fact that I only had pink clean wrap.DO NOT TRY TO LEAN UNDER THE FAUCET TOGET THIS OUT, ITWILL TAKE SO LONG AND YOU WILL HURT YOUR NECK. Washing out the henna is even more work. I knew that this could take a long time so I made sure my husband was home to watch the kids so I could stay I. The shower for a while. I washed just with water first as much of mixture as I could- then a 2in1 shampoo and condition (let it set about 5 minutes and rinsed)- then just a shampoo (let it set about 5 minutes and rinsed)- then a hair conditioning mask (let it set about 5 minutes and rinsed)- then a shampoo again and my regular conditioner again. It is a job! And while in the shower I always was prepared with some cleaning products to clean up as my shampoo and condition set because this gets messy!I am super pleased with the color and henna is awesome if you are prepared for extra work. To me saving my hair from the damage of a regular dye is worth it.
