Great
Great little device, wanted something for my daughters switch as she kept breaking wired headsets. This is brilliant she can play with friends and I can hear the conversation if needed or connect a wireless headset!

No more headphone wires on the go!
Like many of you, I love my switch. But one the main let downs of the console is lack of Bluetooth connection to my headphones.I would have loved to have been given the options to have either a wired or wireless connection. To solve the problem a number of companies have released Bluetooth adapters, and after some research, I decided to try out the Homeport Bluetooth Adapter for Switch. Heres my review.Fast delivery from Germany.Like BMW and Mercedes, the build quality is very high, the plastic matching with the black of the Nintendo switch. As you can see from the photos I purchase the sporty blue/red version. Standard business grey is also available.Instructions to Pair are clear and they are currently paired with my Sony noise cancelling headset. The sound is good and without delay. As I've only had the unit for 24 hours I haven't had the opportunity to test the power drain.Comes with microphone headphone jack and USB-c to USB converter, which allows you to have wireless voice and connection to the dock if needed. Homespot also provides a cloth/padded mini bag which can be used to carry all three things. It can be closed using the velcroThe unit itself sits very well with the console and doesn't add any noticeable addition weight.Three things which I would like to critique:1. I had modified my hard case to allow this unit to be attached to the console. It also means it slightly stretches the carry case i story my switch in. Some users with smaller cases/hard cases might have to remove the unit.2. The mini carry bag is the only thing that seems a little cheap. Maybe a leather one with embossed homespot? (personally subjective)3. As the USB-c port is used up when the adapter is plugged in, you can't use a power bank or charger at the same time with it in.Great wireless sound for the console that I love.

Works with new Apple AirPod Pro
This product is extremely slim. I was looking for a product that didn't protrude or interfere with day-to-day use. This product answered my needs and provided the play experience that I was looking for wires free. To top it off, I was having trouble pairing my new AirPod Pros, sent an email and recieved a reply with top-notch instructures. I followed their instructions and was up and rolling in now time.Pasted instructions on how to reset the Bluetooth adapter below:1. Completely power shutdown (turn off) the Nintendo Switch.2. Insert the Bluetooth adapter into Nintendo Switch USB-C port.3. Power on the Nintendo Switch and go to the Home menu.4. Press and hold both P1 and P2 buttons for 5 seconds until all LEDs start flashing.5. The Bluetooth adapter is now reset and will enter pairing mode (P1 and Codec LED flashing alternately) for around 2 minutes. Then proceed with following AirPods Pro pairing procedure:1) Make sure the AirPods Pro is not connected to any device.2) With the AirPods Pro in the charging case, open the lid.3) Press and hold the setup button on the back of the charging case until the status light (on the front of the charging case) flashes white.4) With the Bluetooth adapter still in pairing mode (P1 and Codec LED flashingalternately), bring the AirPods Pro (still inside the charging case) close to the Bluetooth adapter and they will pair and connect automatically.5) Once paired and connected, you may take the AirPods Pro out from the charging case.

Worth the price. Easy to use, great design, easy to use and the sound quality is fantastic.
I like everything about this product. I found out about it through YouTube and decided to take the plunge and buy it myself. The product is small, discreet and fits into the design of the Switch - important to me as I travel a lot and dislike the thought of a huge device hanging out the AUX port. This product comes with a small velcro pouch, providing safety when travelling inside my Switch case. There are no device or downloads needed with this product - just plug it in and it will begin trying to pair with a bluetooth device using the Switch battery as a power source. It connects almost immediately to my Airpods 2, although it does take a couple of attempts when repairing them from another device. Sometimes I have to reset the product by holding down both buttons for a few seconds and then pairing becomes possible. I have not noticed any pairing issues when connection is established. I have only used my Airpods with this product.Sound quality is perfect, no lag either docked or in handheld mode.Overall, this product is brilliant, very easy to use and its ability to blend in with the console makes the higher end price worth it.

Wouldn’t pair with any headphones, sent back disappointed - new device 2 months later did work
Update June 2019: following the original experience the seller/manufacturer contacted me and asked permission to send me a free device that they had fully tested first. I of course didn’t object and within days the device arrived. Not only did it go into pairing mode easily, it paired with my AirPods and really has been a brilliant device. I don’t know if there was a bad batch when I bought originally or what was the problem, however the interest in resolving the problem really showed concern for brand imageOriginal April 2019 review belowWas really looking forward to this arriving, but wouldn’t get out of pairing mode and the usb headphone sign on the switch kept switching on and off and sound on the speakers cutting in and out, tried all the instructions and all Bluetooth headphones in the house, from AirPods to cheap in ear Bluetooth headphones or even my Sony over the ear pair - seems to be faulty, last 2 reviewers also seem to have experienced this
