Worst extractor I've ever had, only plus point is that it looks nice when not in use.
Pro:It looks nice.Cons:It's sold as a 90cm wide extractor, when purchasing a wide hob one would think this wide extractor would do the job, however it only extracts in the middle (where you can see a rectangle on the front), so this would be useful over a smaller than average hob, rather than a wide one. It's really noisy, I mean really noisy! The instructions state it is quieter when installed with 125mm ducting, so I instructed the kitchen fitter to use a 125mm, I have since measured it myself in case the fitter didn't heed my instructions but it IS 125mm ducting, yet this is the noisiest extractor I've ever used (on the first setting, not a whole lot of difference between setting 1 (low) and 3 (high). Cannot hear a radio 6 feet away unless it's on max volume in which case the entire street can hear it too, my neighbours can hear this extractor and I live in a detached house.Owing to the poor extraction over a wide hob, all the water vapour sits on the glass to the left and right of the extraction point until it gets too much when it then drips off, back into my pans.I have had it 6 months, the filter is cleaned monthly as suggested in the manual, and despite the filter appearing to be clean somehow cooking oil is leaking back down the chimney, falling to the back of the extractor and leaking out through the edge of one of the fixed LED lights, which is then pooling behind the hob - so I have to leave a fresh kitchen towel there every day to soak it up.At least it's highlighted all the design flaws which I'll be looking to avoid when I replace it!
