Good beginners board. Solid deck for learning basic tricks. Decent trucks. Hardness of wheels is good. Decal on bottom of board is cheaply made and bearings could be better. Overall, great price point for a complete board that will hold up abuse of learning to skate.

My 13 yr old son absolutely loves this. He has been riding it non stop since it delivered. It came w/ stickers, but he chose to put those on his hydroflask because he didn't want to take away from the beautiful artwork of the sexy girl. Great tool to get him out of the house and move around a bit instead of being on his phone all day.

I'm no skateboard expert, but I'm learning. Got this for my young son who is getting into skateboarding. The deck seems very good, but the wheels (bearings?) do not turn freely. Spin the wheels by hand and they just come to a stop - not what I would expect from a new skateboard. My son says that it is slow. I oiled the bearings and the Specs say that they are ABEC 7 grade which is supposed to be fast. Also the screws that the wheels (trucks?) to the deck are not countersunk properly. Some are more or less flush, but about half are sticking up above the surface of the deck. That's not good. So I will have to fix that. Upon further research, I'm finding that you get what you pay for. People with more experience say that you buy a good deck and then upgrade the wheels and bearings. So that's what we are doing. The deck seems very good, so we will go ahead and order some good quality bearings and possibly better wheels and see how that turns out.

My son isn’t a beginner, so I can’t respond to the question for beginners, but he did ask the skateboard park guy to lose his wheels, which worked great for him, so I assume that when it’s not loosened, it’s good for beginners too. Sturdy and fun design. Multiple level use and it can grow with your child. A definite recommendation.

It came ready to use and perfect for someone like me (32 yr old beginner)! She’s my baby now and I take her with me everywhere!

Overall my daughter is happy with her board.

I bought this because my husband had bought the same one for one of our grandsons, so when our older grandson needed a larger skateboard I just got the same one since I don't know anything about skateboards. Both of our grandsons love them! They are easy to ride for the kids and they like the feel of the wheels. Both are beginners so I imagine as they get better they will want to change out the wheels but the price was right shipping was faster then expected, overall a great buy.

My daughter has been using this for one season now and has been happy with it. It's held up well and the quality is good for what I paid.We had two minor issues which I fixed myself and I attribute them mainly to lack of maintenance (i.e. checking and tightening loose bolts). My daughter was complaining that the board was really squeaky so I took it apart. I found that one of the washers butting up against the rubber grommets (or whatever they are officially called) was distorted and everything was loose and grinding around (our fault). I replaced the thin metal washer with a better one, sprayed the contact points with silicone spray, tightened everything up and it's better than new now.

I wouldn't buy this either as a starter or a pro. The board was loosly put together, the screws were not even in place. The bushings are very stiff, and trucks are not flexible even after loosen it up. With ABEC-7 bearing, the wheels are extremely slow. You need a lot tune-up to make it work. I should have spent more for a custom board in a skate shop. But since I skated to test it out, I can't ask of a refund. So I advise others don't buy this.

Bought for a Christmas present - 10 year old son loves it. It appears to be decent quality. The deck is a nice and standard grippy, gritty deck that you see on the decent boards at the skate park. Wheels/trucks look and feel good. Great value for the price. Bought with the upright stand which is an excellent space saver.

I purchased this for my son for his birthday, he liked the alien and the blue background - blue is his favorite color. I received this board today and the background is not blue, its a purple that fades to pink and definitely reads as a pink background. The alien is more purple/copper as well rather than the green/gold shown in this photos. Not sure if this photo is off or what but I am disappointed. As always, Amazon shipping was outstanding but I don't think my son will like the actual color of this product.
