I wanted to be able to have our porch lit from dawn to dusk, we previously had a movement sensor which sometimes failed, I bypassed the PIR switch and plugged in this bayonet lamp. All works well and our porch is illuminated! I cannot comment on longevity and assume the stated wattage is true. Reasonably priced also.

Bought these for the porch. They give off a good amount of light so work well and do what they've supposed to. We use in our bedroom lamp too so it gives us peace of mind if we're out late.

These light bulbs work well but during the recent (and current) dull weather tend NOT to turn off during the day.

Easy to fit and a nice bright white light. Fitted to existing outside light which now comes on automatically when it gets dark and goes off when it gets light. Much easier than fitting a new sensor light and better than motion detectors.

Bought two of these less than a year ago and one of them has become faulty already. Other than that they are bright enough, turn on at dusk and off at dawn as expected.
