Q: Is this really waterproof??

The one I received was not waterproof. Make sure and check your package for the word “waterproof” when you receive it. The one I received was not the waterproof version.

Q: Is this a counterfeit product? i notice the "covergirl" lettering is in a very plain font on the pencil, unlike another one i owned.

CoverGirl underwent a rebranding in the past year. Their new logo uses a plainer font. The product is genuine.

Q: Does this stay on as well as the original Perfect Point Plus?

I never did use the original perfect point Plus, but I don't find that this ink it stays on that well. First that's my opinion and everybody's different so it might work for you.
