Excellent dehydrator
Excellent quality food dehydrator. Perfect for making beef jerky and fruit leather. We've had ours for years and it still works like new.

Really like this Dehydrator !
Great little Dehydrator. Have used to make jerky, (turned out perfect). for fruits and veggies. 7 metal trays, 2 mess, 2 trays with edges, Instruction Manuel and 2 little green silicon mitts. Would buy again. Serves my purposes. Bought extra lip and mesh trays recently.

Perfect dehydrator.
Perfect size dehydrator. 7 trays are decent size. I can fit 4 pounds of meat easily on 6 trays with a little room to spare on 2 of the trays. So it’ll fit 5 pounds for sure using the 7th tray. So much easier than the old school tower dehydrator. The fan is quiet and everything is easy to operate. It comes with 2 plastic jerky trays. Would be awesome if it came with 7 (one for each tray). Wouldn’t recommend putting stuff directly on the wire racks. But you can buy food grade silicon mats for it which are inexpensive. I bought the mats, and clean up is a breeze. Set the temp and time and pretty much forget about it. I turn my trays at halfway, but you honestly don’t need to. It evenly distributed the heat. Using the old tower dehydrator, I always had to rotate my trays from bottom to top and etc every few hours. This dehydrator makes everything simple and easy. I’ve used it a handful of times now. Started off with just one pound of meat to understand it. And now doing 4-5 pounds of meat at a time. Comes with a recipe book, which is a good reference with temps and times for a lot of stuff if you’ve never used a dehydrator. It makes it easy to just open the book and figure out what temp for what ever you are trying to make. I’m happy you can set a certain temp for a certain time and not have to constantly check on your stuff. Used a tower dehydrator for years just bc that’s how I was raised. But so glad I got this. Made my life so much easier. I no longer have to constantly check to make sure everything is getting dehydrated properly, and constantly check my tower trays. Would recommend to anyone that would like to start dehydrating things, as well as to people that have been dehydrating for years using a tower tray system. This dehydrator is worth it to me and I’ll continue to use it for as long as I can.

Working great so far - LOUD ANNOYING BUZZER
Had it for about a month, seems to hold temperature well and it does its job. I haven't had much time to experiment but so far things are looking good. The only complaint I have is that the noises this thing produces when pushing buttons or when the timer goes off is like a fire alarm from hell. I don't think they could possibly have used a more obnoxious buzzer sound. Otherwise the machine is actually pretty damn quiet for a dehydrator. It's way quieter than the one it replaced for sure. Also would like to note that anyone complaining about the sides warping was probably blasting this thing on 165F (highest temp) which is completely unnecessary for any dehydrating purposes. There is no reason other than impatience that you should ever use a temp that high. You'll get much better results using lower temps. Throw out their recipe guide and just do your own experimenting.

Very quiet
I bought this dehydrator so I can make my own jerky chips. I am tired of spending $25 per bag on hot Cheeto jerky sold by a local business. I found out that it is very easy and inexpensive to make. I have already spent over $200 on that jerky, and I should have saved my money and bought this dehydrator earlier. Based on the reviews, it looks like the build quality of this thing is great. I bought a protection plan just in case, but I hope it doesn't break down on me. While I am writing this review, I am actually drying some jerky, and right now, our house smells like jerky. I was surprised that it looks much smaller in person compared to the pictures online, which is something I really like, so I can easily store it after I use it. I will update this review after I finish dehydrating my first batch and see how it goes. One more thing, I did not realize that the maximum temperature of this unit is only 165°F. I hope that I will not have a recipe that requires more than 165°F in the future.

Love this machine!
I have made countless purchases on Amazon and have never been compelled to leave a review. I looked through many reviews before purchasing. I am very happy with this dehydrator. I specifically wanted it to make orange slices but wait it has so many other possibilities. My oranges turned out perfect! I loved the operation and quality of this machine. Shipped fast. The only thing that would be helpful is the “cookbook” that comes with it is somewhat vague and not overly helpful.

Far Exceeds My Expectations!
I bought this dehydrator on Prime Day because:1) It was about $70'ish discounted2) It has dishwasher safe metal trays3) It included two fruit leather trays & a couple of fine-mesh screen trays4) Is a a brand I recognize5) Has pretty strong reviewsI have been running it nearly non-stop since it was delivered. So far, I've dehydrated apricots, bananas, two different types of fruit leather (strawberry/pineapple/banana; peach/apple w/a splash of vanilla extract & a sprinkle of cinnamon -- tastes like a peach/apple pie!), and a ton of pineapple slices (add a sprinkle of tajin for a little kick!). And while it's easy to clean (dishwasher safe metal trays!), what l love most about this thing is how quiet it is!! I was assuming it would too loud to have in the kitchen, or even in the house, and had even already identified where I would run it out in the garage. But, it's quiet enough to have in the kitchen. And, at the rate we're going through pineapple rings and fruit leather, I think I won't have to worry about where to store it when not in use, because it's going to continue to be constantly in use :)The only question / concern I have is that in the operations manual, it states to NOT run this dehydrator for continuously more than 24 hours at a time, and yet the timer is able to be set for far more than that. If it needs to be turned off for a few hours after 24 hours, then why make the timer longer than 24 hours?
