Fits bigger mugs, not that fine
It isn't as fine as I thought it would be. It still gets out bigger leaves but it's not fine enough to get all the smaller particles so you may still have some sandiness at the very bottom of your cup. The bonus is it fits pretty much all my mugs and cups.

Perfect for my matcha routine
I've been looking for a matcha strainer and this gets the job done and it's aesthetically pleasing, too!

A Must Have Item You Didn't Know You Needed!!!!
Who would have guessed that this little item would do so much. It is a power-house multi-task item. I used to this to sieve Matcha, I used it to make Turmeric tea without making a mess, I used it to filter the tiniest particles out of broth with a picky child who doesn't want anything floating in the cup. I am so impressed, I am going to order more. It came pretty quickly. I have used it daily. No rust. It is put together very well. It is small but very useful. It doesn't take up a lot of space. It is definitely a must have for so mini things.

Just the right size.
It is not to small so cleaning was not hard. Worked great. Thanks

A very fine mesh strainer for grinding chalk
I originally purchased this to grind chalk pastels for use with polymer clay shading and pastel painting. That being said, I had no elevated expectation that this strainer would be more than a flimsy piece of aluminum given the price point. After an hour and a half spent hard grinding some very hard pastels (Street Stix & Prisma Nupastels) and not seeing the mesh even deform or the handle bend? This is worth it. Heck, this sieve is worth twice what I paid for it. The handle is solid and sturdy feeling in the hand. There's no jiggling at the connection point or sense of fear that pressing too strongly will cause the bowl to fly off into the air. The little metal bowl is also very sturdy feeling and cleans out very well.I haven't tried washing these yet to see if they'll rust but I hope they won't because I might order more! The mesh is very fine and resulted in wonderfully fine milled chalk dust. The mesh could only be finer if it were woven from angel feathers.I now wish I hadn't paid $15 for a tool specifically designed for grinding down chalk. I could've bought more of these.
