very stout extension!! very well built, immediately after installation i ran my R1200GS up to 180kph, NO FLEX and NO play from the extensions mount at full height, held rock solid!! my OEM windscreen actually showed some weakness here, flexes due to additional wind deflection but understandable, my actual test was at my cruise speed of 120-130kph, i think i can actually FINALLY hear what my passenger is saying.. it provides a noticeable difference in wind deflection and noise.. my own exhaust note has raised a few decibals nowthe wind deflection this small addition provides is well worth the small fee!! i bough it for rain deflection at hwy speeds and based on what i felt today, im pretty confident it will do what i bought it for..highly recommended due to its quality, something i dd not expect considering these cost over 55 euros in Greece

The actual product is quite well made, however with that comes a bit of weight. Not a massive amount but enough that if you have quite a flexible screen or one that is rubber mounted this thing is bouncing all over the place. Also for my height (5ft 8) on my factory windscreen on my cb500x the metal clamp was literally in front of my face obscuring my view forward. So unfortunately I had to return, the replacement I bought works better for my use case but I would say is significantly poorer quality than this one. Swings and roundabouts!

The wind deflector arrived promptly and as described. It is well made and of good quality. It was easy to fit and made a definite difference when used at speed, pushing the air up above my helmet and reducing wind noise and buffeting. However, it does require experimentation to get the best result and on my windscreen caused some oscillation above 65 mph. This may not happen on other screens as mine is only 3mm thick, being adapted from a smaller capacity bike. Worth a try for the price.

The clamp cannot be tightened sufficiently without the whole thing bending open. The metal at the top of the clamp is too weak. The silicone fillers and metal strips are too weak and go out of shape when fitted. An utter waste of time and a disappointment. Couldn't send it back because it wasn't damaged when it arrived and for the price I'm not paying the postage. Be careful you don't damage the top of your screen when the screws slip off the spacers so factor in a new screen when you look at the cheap price. I've now got a similar item by a different maker that was over twice the price but works perfectly. Buy cheap - buy twice!!!
