The description referenced this as being a sweatshirt, it is not a knit/fleece material, it is actually a sweater. It is very soft though, not irritating on my skin and I am really sensitive to itchy fabrics. In stores I would wear an XL or 1X top, and got this in XXL and it fits great, loose but not like a potato sack. It has just sewn hems on the sleeves and bottom, not cuffed.I am 5'3" and it comes down to my lower hips, just a bit shorter than a tunic length. I have worn it with jeggings,It isn't off my shoulders like in some of the pics, it's more like a really wide boatneck on me, unless I pulled it off my shoulders intentionally. I kiddingly named this my "mullet sweater", all business in the front, PARTAYYYYYY in the back (my fellow 80's girls will appreciate that!). I am always skeptical of ordering things online because of my size but i am pleased to say that this was a great purchase. I am actually wearing this sweater as I am typing this review. It’s comfortable, soft, and cozy. The only thing I can find wrong with it is that it is a little see through (or at least the pink one I bought), I have to wear a nude colored bra with it, but other than that it’s great.
