Accurate, easy to use, and good price. Just don't let it get wet -- I accidentally dropped mine in some water and now it gives false high readings 1/10 of the time (I still use it, I just take multiple readings and know that the result I get 9/10 times is the accurate one, but that 10th time it will show me something ridiculous like 20F degrees higher than i KNOW it is.) I'm still making it work but be more careful than I was!

Great little thermometer! Came with the aaa batteries needed to use it, installed in a snap( no tiny screws to deal with) I was worried it would be as good as the more expensive models but it works great! I bought this to test temps on my garden plants to ensure I am using the right amount of shade fabric. I have it a try in the house and I was surprised by how quickly the reading changed, no delay, just reading temps with my movement. I will be using this for cooking, ensuring pavement is not to hot to walk my tenants dogs, and my daughter is thinking up all the experiments she can use it for. I am very pleased with my purchase. Ps. The kitten is also please by the bright red dot lol

Pros: cheap, fairly accurate, easy to use, live reading for scanning, comes with batteries, turns off itself so preserves battery life Cons: beeps after reading Definitely worth the money so far. I don't know how accurate it is on the higher end of the scale, but calibrating with ice water it was at -0.5C instead of 0C, but accurate enough for my purposes. The emmisivity is adjustable, but haven't bothered with it. They give a little chart for the materials you'd need to adjust for (aluminum, glass, etc...) If you want to do that though.

I use this temperature gun to check my aquarium water temps to match the temperature of water changes, to make sure my ball python enclosure doesn't get too hot or cold, and to make sure my plant lights don't overheat my plants. I calibrated it to the temperature of my aquarium heater, and it seems pretty accurate. I've used this thermometer several times a week for the last 4 months and have never even had to change the battery. I may buy a more expensive one in the future, but I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone on a budget. It's totally worth the price of a meal at mcdonalds at the very least.

This thermometer is very nice and easy to use. I can't truly judge the true accuracy without an actual certified standard to compare it against, but it does compare very well to several old analog oven thermometers (the type that usually hang on an oven shelf). Its reading is usually within a few degrees (+/- 5) of the analog versions. Obviously I don't know if the IR thermometer or the analog versions, which don't completely agree with each other, are correct, but a +/- 5 degree variation is acceptable to me. You do have to be careful in aiming it to be sure that you are actually measuring the temperature of your target, but that is normal with all IR thermometers. The "bottom line" here is simple -- I like it, it works well, and I am happy with my purchase.

I needed a thermometer for my new pizza oven to make neapolitan pizza in a higher quality as they need 350 degrees or more. Didn't want to spend a lot so I got one of these and didn't get disappointed. Easy to use and for what I can see from the results is pretty accurate. Would have been awesome if it would be usable as a fever thermometer but thats unfortunately not the case. Recommend it!

This was so inexpensive but it works great. I originally got it to test painting surface temperature. But due to some computer heat issues used it for pinpointing the heat source. The cat likes the LED light .

This product feels high qaulity and is easy to use with alot of different modes, but it doesnt work well unless your like an inch away from the object your checking. It is very unaccurate from around a foot.

La prise de température n'est pas du tout stable et fiable, j'ai raté le tempérage de mon chocolat à chaque fois en utilisant ce laser alors qu'avec un thermomètre a sonde pas du tout. Entre trois essais voir plus la température n'est pas du tout la même, grosses variations à chaque fois.
