When the original battery on my Dyson V8 began to degrade to the point where it needed replacement, I first checked the manufacturer’s website to see what an OEM battery would cost. Before ordering, my brother suggested I take a look at this replacement battery since he had recently purchased one for his own Dyson V8 and had been very satisfied with the performance. The installation process was simple and quick. After removing three screws, I was able to access and remove the original battery. The new battery slid into place easily, and once the screws were reinstalled the vacuum was ready to go again. The entire process took less than five minutes. One helpful tip is to make sure the battery is properly seated when reinstalling the screws—if it’s not aligned correctly the screws won’t thread in easily, so it’s best not to force them. Once installed, the replacement battery looks nearly identical to the original OEM battery, and the color matches the vacuum perfectly, which helps maintain the overall look of the unit. In terms of performance, I was pleasantly surprised. This battery has a slightly larger capacity than the original, and even when using the vacuum on the Max setting I’m seeing noticeably longer runtime—roughly about 30% more than what I experienced when the vacuum was new. I also didn’t notice the battery running any warmer than the original pack despite the extended run time. Overall, this replacement battery has been an excellent and cost-effective way to extend the life of my Dyson V8. It installs easily, looks great, and delivers impressive runtime. Worked great fit right in with no problems

I waited several months to review this to make sure the battery did not slowly start to lose its charge. It has been many months now and I can still say I am so incredibly impressed by this battery performance. I swear it is better than the original one that came with my Dyson. When I first got my Dyson, I could vacuum the entire downstairs of my house (approximately 1,000 sf) and maybe up the steps and the hallway if I was quick. Over the course of 4 years, the battery wore down so badly that I was only able to vacuum my living room quickly. With this battery I'm able to vacuum the entire downstairs, up the steps and four upstairs bedrooms. It's been many months and I have not noticed any decrease in the length of time I'm able to vacuum. This battery is excellent and would highly recommend.

We bought this replace battery for our Dyson V6 stick vac in October 2023. It’s now June 2025 and the battery is failing. I use the vacuum every other day on a regular basis. I had a good 10 minutes of vacuuming time with this battery. We are ordering another battery, for the price it does the job.

Battery fit my V6 Dyson perfectly and is working great!

This is an early review, but so far, everything is excellent. Perfect fit and very easy replacement. One-day delivery. The price was very reasonable. My V6 Animal has new life. The vacuum was purchased in 2013 and is now running like new again. The renewed power is impressive. This is the second battery replacement since the original purchase. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase.

It does work but will stop and start over and over but still cheaper then a new dyson. fit well and easy to put in. Looks like factory and last longer then factory. Just wish it didnt power surge like it does
