Good buy
I have bought 3 different versions of these and received 4 (more on that in a moment), so I figured I have sufficient experience to help out others considering making the purchase. The ones I've purchased are the 1-Drawer with Lock, the 4-Drawer, and the 7-Drawer.Quality and cost: these are of a much higher quality than the typical Sterilite or knock-off plastic drawer organizers you can buy almost anywhere. However, they still have their defects. The larger two - the 4-drawer and the 7-drawer - have dips in the top that make opening the top drawer just a smidge difficult. The label tabs are easily pulled out if you're not being careful. A few pieces arrived with the plastic parts separated and had to be popped back together, but that was not difficult. Fortunately, these drawers will not warp easily. All in all, a very nice quality, but the cost could definitely be less.Drawer size: there are three different drawer sizes which I'll name A, B, and C. A is the smallest and is about .8 in tall - enough room for about 3 rows of pencils or 2 rows of skinny markers or maybe a third of a ream of paper. There are two in the 7-drawer unit (the 10-drawer and small 3-drawer ones appear to be completely made of the A size). This size drawer has a hole in the bottom near the front.B is the medium size and it is the same as 2 A's. There are 2 in the 4-drawer and in the 7-drawer units each. You might be able to fit a ream of paper in this, but it would be tight. This drawer also has a hole in the bottom near the front. I do not really like or see the point of the holes in the A and B sizes of the drawers. For mine, I blocked them up with electrical tape and with taping paper over it when I was concerned the stuff in it might fall out.C is the biggest size, and it's equal to 3 A's or 1 B + 1 A. It is 2.75 inches tall. There are 2 in the 4-drawer and 1 in the locked 1-drawer. You would have no problem fitting a ream of paper in here and have room to spare. Unlike the other two sizes, there is no hole in the bottom of the drawers of this size. A note about the locking drawer: the lock is a bit of a joke. If you want some a sense of safety without actually any sort of safety, feel free to buy it. It may deter prying eyes, but it will definitely not deter a determined thief. The shell and drawer could easily be taken apart around the lock if someone tried.Labels: labels are slotted into the drawer both by two tabs on the bottom of each label holder and by a sliver on the side. If you insert it wrong and miss the side, it will come out easier. It still moves out way too easily, but putting it in properly will stop that a little. Plenty of labels come with the drawers, and they even come with instructions so you can print on them if you so choose. The locking drawer did not come with a label or a label holder - I'm not sure if that was an oversight or intentional.Shell: The drawers are completely interchangeable - each shell has tracts at intervals for the smallest (A) drawer sizes. You can change them in between shells or reorder them within a shell. Go crazy with it. Other than the annoying but slight dip at the top, they seem to be of a good quality. The tops of the larger two sizes are glossy except for a matte section toward the back. The top of the small one has a Durable label on it. There are non-skid nubs/feet for the bottom of the shell. On some of the units I received, the nubs were already attached; in others, they came on a paper in the bag with the labels. One unit did not have any nubs at all. Finally, I received 4 because the first 4-drawer unit that came to me had a major chip in the bottom and the bottom drawer. It was clear from the corresponding chip in the box that this happened in shipping. All the other units I received did not have this issue, fortunately, and I will be returning the chipped one since I already received the replacement. In conclusion, I'm glad I bought these, and I love using them. I've just taken one star off because I think it's too expensive for the quality, but the quality still is nice.

Exactly as described. Perfect!
Using in my sewing room to store spools of thread. Keeps them clean and easily accessible.

worked well for my application
I just had all my files sharpened, and I didn't want to just put them back in the toolboxes, banging against each other. I wanted to store them in something that would keep them separate from each other so they stayed nice and sharp. So I needed a tool box that had shelves that were a very shallow height, at least 14" deep, and could hold at least 50 files in several drawers, without being huge. After a lot of looking, I found this. It's perfect for what I need. A file is only about 1/4" thick, so the drawers being only about an inch high was ideal. It's 14" deep, so I can get up to 12" files in it. And it has 11 drawers, so that will hold a lot of files. It's nice and compact, so it gets the job done without taking up a lot of space. And it's cheap too. A regular metal toolbox, even if I could find one with this many shallow drawers and the 14+ inch depth I needed, would have cost hundreds of dollars and taken up several times as much space as this does. It is just plastic, and a bit flimsy, but it's more than enough to store files and keep them from touching each other. The only negative about it, and this was mentioned in other reviews too, is the little clear plastic handles that go on each drawer face are about useless. They are a sloppy loose fit to the drawer face, and need to be glued in place so they are not always falling off.If you have a bunch of things that are long, but not very tall and need to be stored, this might work well for you.JUNE 2022 UPDATE: This was somewhat overpriced at $73 in March for a bunch of plastic shelves. Now it's up to $93!!! You know what the inflation is from, without me saying it. I was going to order another one of these, but not at a 22% price increase in three months! I'll just get by without it.

Nice, wish it was more customizable
I got these to organize laminator pouches and it works well for that. You can rearrange the drawers in the unit. Basically there are 10 notches in the unit and there are drawers that take up 1, 2, or 3 notches. They do have a few different configurations available, but it'd be nice if you could buy drawers separately and build your own. Then you could do something like 3+3+3+1 = 10 and pick your colors if you wanted.

Didn't get the handles
I understood from reading the description of the 4-drawer unit that the handle inserts came with this purchase. None included in my package, not in drawers or packing box. CAN I GET THEM SENT TO ME? I would really like them. Other than that I like this item. Thanks.

Top notch!
Its all plastic, so adjust your expectation. But its top notch in terms of desktop/shelf top organizer. I use it to sort differnt types of paper in my small print shop. The bottom trays, hold a ream.

Perfect For My OCD!!
Great investment for organizing!! It's very study, looks FANTASTIC, and priced just right. I just might buy a second one once my other bin gives up. Definitely a plus for home offices, laundry rooms, pantry, garage and kids art supplies, AND it looks great!!

Love and hate
I got three of these of different configurations. They are very sturdy and stack well and are just what I needed....BUT.....two of the three were jammed at the factory which translates to the drawer guides being jammed into a middle place they can't slide in and out of. They look perfect on the outside so no one would know until they tried to open them. I can't see this happening in shipping because it took tremendous force to get them out of the jam and the locking drawer was so stuck I had to give up and force it back in so I could box it up and return it. It didn't break so that speaks to the durability of these. The third one was the 5 drawer one and I was able to remove 4 drawers leaving room for a mallet to get in and hammer the top stuck drawer into the correct track and now it works great. No sign of the damage which I find amazing. So I recommend trying these but just make sure it works before you loose your window of return.

Close to perfection, but at a price - worth it as a treat!
Pros:▲ High quality injection moulded ABS plastic body and drawers (I used to work in a plastics factory many moons ago).▲ Drawers slide well (with slight friction) without jamming/sticking.▲ Vibrant coloured drawer insides, just visible as thin flash of colour when closed - good for 'visual thinkers'/creative types▲ Clear plastic drawer pulls can have paper/thin card labels easily inserted to identify contents, or can be removed to allow drawer to be open by putting fingers through the revealed opening and pulling back of drawer front instead of gripping the thin tab of the drawer pull.▲ Very protective packaging (including thin foam lined cardboard around edges) avoids breakage or scratches during transit.Cons:▼ Expensive, but you get what you pay for.▼ Minimal 2 mm high soft feet under each corner don't lift the unit high enough for bottom drawer to clear hardly anything placed in front of it on the desktop, such as a magazine, pens or eraser. Would have been a nice feature to have had two sets of feet supplied for the user to fit: the 2 mm ones as are now fitted, and some 10 mm ones for extra clearance. I realise this is picky, but these drawers are so close to perfection I had to mention it.▼ Would have been nice to have had moulded grooves at the inside back of each drawer to hold the drawer pull for later use if currently not being used (I just *know* I wouldn't be able to find them again if I took them out - I'm not the organised type!)

Wonderful and very helpful filing unit - 10 drawers, 5 colours x2 - lifesaver
Just what I was looking for, this filing unit is perfect to keep all my art sketches, notes, business files ect all organised. Before I purchased this I had a lot of scrap bits of paper all over the place but now I can file everything in the same place and it only takes a second to check something instead of the whole day, ok maybe not the whole day. There are 10 drawers, 5 colours x2 and they slide in and out with ease. There are labels for the drawers in there too but I haven't managed to put them up yet because I'm really lazy but I will get around to it at some stage, I think they just clip or slide in. I'm relying on the colour scheme for now. 2 yellow, orange, red, dark purple and dark blue.I would simply be lost without this filing unit and have no idea how in God's name I managed before I had it. My studio was such a disaster you have no idea. I might actually purchase another one and throw it on top of this one, wow that would look so cool. I have so many art themes and subjects that I have already ran out of spare drawers so I might get another unit. The money is absolutely worth it and actually cheaper then other snazzier brands. The drawers are for A4 paper and have a little groove in it to pull the drawer out with your finger. This little unit rocks I love it. I am seriously considering getting another one for my studio. It allows me to get all the stupid scrap paper with all the random ideas in one place so I can discard them after I transfer them all into a proper notebook. I think it weighs around 4kg so not too bad. if you have doubts - DONT. This is one of the best things I ever bought for myself.

Frustrating
The unit arrived on time and nearly as described with two exceptions. There is some damage from transit (I presume) - not major enough to want to send it back but a tad irritating; and it is one short of the plastic name tag holders! I can’t find anywhere where it says you can contact the supplier so they can send me an extra one so my only option is to send it back. I don’t think it’s really worth it but at £70 ish it’s expensive to not be perfect so I feel obliged to do this....unless they get in touch with me in the next few days. The unit itself is great.

Very 'plasticky'
It looks quite nice, but personally I didn't like the materials, felt very flimsy and cheap. Overpriced in my opinion. Also it was damaged on delivery (Amazon sorted this without any hassle), but I would have probably returned anyhow, maybe considering a Bisley Multidrawer metal unit instead.
